Montallegro — Restaurant in Parc Hosingen

Strange place for an Italian restaurant! It's located next to an indoor swimming pool inside a sportcomplex. The restaurant itself is to bright lit for my taste. In my picture you can see the awkward lighting setup.

The food itself was tastfull, but the meat in the burger was red for the most part. We had to wait for almost an hour until dinner was served. I think they forgot us and they came by to say sorry (in French, knowing we don't speak French at all...)

The price was resenable, but if you like a romantic/traditional dinner setting: please look...

I have been to this place about 100 to 120 times over the last years and the level of quality of the dishes and the level of the service are always particularly good. Some restaurants have stars and you don't get that kind of taste and that kind of guaranteed level on such a long period (a few years) . My recommendation ...take one of the suggestions of the week ...you will feel being in South Italy. Quality price ratio is also better than other Italian restaurant in Luxembourg. Just go there and...

Ech wollt eng Pizza bestelle mat nëmmen engem zousätzlechen Zutat – Ananas. De Kellner sot direkt, dat géif net goen. Ech hu gefrot ob ee vläicht eppes ewech loossen oder bäimaache kann, hien sot "jo", mee Ananas op eng Thonfëschpizza géif net goen, dat wier "net hir Traditioun". Wat ass dat fir eng Logik?

Hien huet mir net emol ugebueden d’Ananas extra ze bestelle. Resultat: Ech krut guer keng Pizza! Well dem Kellner seng Éier méi wichteg war wéi de Wonsch vum Client.

Fir et nach méi schlëmm ze maachen: Eise ganzen Dësch gouf ignoréiert – aner Leit, déi vill méi spéit komm sinn, hu virun eis z’iessen kritt. Als "Entschiedegung" hu mir e Glas Wäin an eng Fläsch Waasser kritt. Super, ech sëtzen ouni Iessen um Dësch, well ech net däerf bestelle wat ech gären hätt.

Ech hu sowat nach ni erlieft. Wéinst enger Zutat gëtt ee behandelt wéi en Idiot. Wéi wann ee Pizzae just ënner "hellege Reegele" dierft zoubereeden déi kee kennt.

Mir hu méi laang op d’Rechnung gewaart wéi aner Leit op hir Pizza. Et ass null Service, onhéiflech, a komplett onverständlech wann een net an engem...
