Wäistuff a Possen — Restaurant in Schengen

Had an amazing evening here! We saw the place on google when looking for a nice restaurant near our hotel and really liked the interior. We decided to go there for dinner that night, luckily for us there was still plenty of room on the very cute outside terrace. Mind you, we don’t speak French or German (let alone Luxembourgish (?)), and our waist reds’ English wasn’t great but we made it work! We were met with such warmth, amazing service and two lovely staff helping us through the menu and options. We decided on the tartar which was such a good choice! Then they had a seasonal tart for dessert with a local fruit that we’ve never had before. She came back super quick after with the fruit! We had a taste, it was delicious (a yellow plum!). We ordered on of the tarts and one same Blanche with amazing chocolate sauce. We even got a liqueur and a sorbet based off of this fruit later too. Everything this night, from the good to the wine and the service was excellent! We will be talking about this experience for a long time, we absolutely loved it....

We had a group of 35 for dinner (gathering of relatives from U.S. and Lux). Guy and the staff prepared a menu of local favorites for people to choose from and, as you can see by the photos, the presentation as well as the food was spectacular. THANK YOU!

This was not our first time to Possenhaus and we certainly hope it won't be our last....

Easy to miss place away from main street. We had work lunch there and food was simply amazing. From the way it's presented to the actual taste. Beef cheeks were sooo delicious.
