Soemba Coffee & Resto Waikabubak — Restaurant in East Nusa Tenggara

I went here few times in the past month. A new addition to Waikabubak's culinary scene. Architecture and interior are a combination of rustic industrial and sub urban look. Very well executed; fits the need of those who expect to travel to remote island but maintain the elevated feel of being in urban setting. so, bravo on that!. The vip room however is a bit muggy from not being used in an extensive amount of time. Food is above average; coffee is great. Hence the best place in town for leisure and dine-in. service is great; my suggestions are to improve the VIP air circulation and spend more time to train the staffs; make sure they understand common cafe lingo such as tea pot, medium rare, runny egg, scrambles, pour-over, french...

This is probably one of the best little cafe/restaurant in Indonesia. Honestly, Sumba, well done! We spent 3 days in Waikabubak and only ate here. Food is super tasty, wifi is the fastest we've had since Bali, and the atmosphere is banging. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because there's a bit too much plastic with the drinks. Always in plastic cups regardless on whether it's have here or takeaway. And plastic straws for mixing the drinks. I'd really recommend getting some proper cups rather than plastic, and a little mixing stick rather than straw. Highly recommend this place...

I love the ambience at the cafe and its really cozy for me at this Sumba Barat. The most cozy cafe around here i think. But sometimes i got the hard chicken like in my “chicken cordon bleu” last week, i didnt enjoy it honestly. But i love pizza, beef steak, doughnuts, etc. I usually come here every weekend for work.
