I visited due the appealing look that this place has but please don't be deceived by that. The place looks shiny on the outside but that does not reflect at all in the quality of food they provide.

Not to mention the abysmal price they charge for the terrible food they make. And if you make the mistake of visiting this place on a week day morning you won't be able to even order anything at all in the menu.

I ordered a veg sandwich which i mind you costs 120rs. You'd expect to get atleast a decent sandwich with that kind of a price tag but to my surprise the sandwich literally had some mayo and some carrot spilled into it. And that's it. And to top that it was legit the smallest sandwich you can ever possibly have.

The bread butter toast costs rs 90. Yes that's my mistake to even be paying that kind of price for literally just bread and butter.

The omelette and the tea was the only decent thing that i got but you don't need to visit this place and pay prices like that for a mere tea and omelette.

I had brought my Nani to this place with me and mind you my nani has been visiting this place ever since this place was kind of established. And she was surprised that how terrible the state of this place was now..Pretty much ruined any nostalgic appeal that this place had for her.

TLDR:, Building big buildings and not paying attention to the quality...

It should be 0, but no option. I have never in my life eaten this type of disgusting food even in the free that I ate here today with money. I took my family to have something testy to eat on the occasion of my son's birthday. I don't know which restaurant in the world makes paneer tikka with besan, it was seem besan tikka no paneer at all.. I was vomiting after eating the starter. In the main menu I ordered mixed fried rice (non veg), chicken butter masala and chicken dopenyaja. Who knows how old and stale the fried rice is only made with pot-liver. That too can be accepted but in fried rice in fried fish oil ??? None of the other two items are edible. The chicken was bashi, Dopenyajatar had no test. Eating street food is much more satisfying. Bottles of water where 20 rupees is all over the world, they are charging more than 23 rupees, if they take the tax but add it to the total bill and take the tax again, it means taking double tax. Suddenly I feel vomiting as soon as I looked at the serving bowl, it was so dirty, never washed well. Today is a auspicious day, bad for Madhuban spoiled everything, my son hurt very much. All in all, the total bill was 1327, my one day's salary was also spent. I think, not food, I ate money. I will pray to God that this restaurant should lost its all...

Madhuvan Vihar Hotel in Ormanjhi, Ranchi, is a decent choice for travelers seeking a comfortable stay near the city. The hotel stands out for its clean and well-maintained premises, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The rooms are spacious and equipped with basic amenities, ensuring a pleasant stay. The staff is courteous and attentive, providing prompt service to meet the needs of guests.

One of the highlights of this hotel is its location, as it is conveniently situated near the Ranchi-Patna highway, making it an ideal stopover for road travelers. The hotel also offers ample parking space, adding to the convenience for those traveling by car.

The on-site restaurant serves a variety of dishes, including local and North Indian cuisine. The food quality is good, and the prices are reasonable, making it a great option for meals during your stay. However, the menu could use more variety to cater to diverse tastes.

On the downside, the Wi-Fi connectivity can be inconsistent, which might be a concern for business travelers. Additionally, some areas of the property could benefit from minor upgrades to enhance the overall experience.

Overall, Madhuvan Vihar Hotel provides good value for money and is suitable for both short stays and...

My 1st madhuvan vihar hotel is worst. I waited for more than 20min to get a seat after leftovers to clean... Ordered veg pulao...i found 🐜 (giant ant) dead and in laccha parataha!... I found pable size stone. Service was very slow and not even served... After finishing 15 min more... Waited for lukewarm lemon water for hand cleaning.... I talked politely to the service staff but their attitude towards my issues were poor! He said -"mam don't say to me... This is not in my concern...Whatever you faced write in the paper I'll send to the manager... Whenever he got time at night.. He will read. " Food taste was just average, butter mushroom was tasteless.. Veg pulao was too much sweet.. Compared to suji ka halwa. And at the end... Guard was asking for money.. Overall my experience is bad with madhuvan. I do not recommend to go there... Wasting of time and money.

Four classmates from BIT 1980s wanted to relive their college experience days at a Ormanjhi dhaba. But things were so different. The quaint roadside dhabas have given way to large, monstrous resorts with air-conditioned sections, play areas, fountains, underground parking - not what we were looking for. Food-wise too Madhuvan Vihar was just ok. The dal tadka was very good. However, the butter chicken was not what I was used to in these places. Over-all the experience was just average.
