What meant to be a joyous event turnout to be a big disappointment. Went to House89 to celebrate a birthday. Call to make reservations and was advised to pre-order for tomahawk and down deposit to ensure faster service upon arrival. We arrived 15 minutes earlier and was seated to vvip room. Despite pre-order, they only served drinks (also pre-ordered) after 20 minutes. Waited again for food then a service staff came to inform 2 of the items which we pre-ordered is not available. Dumbfounded. Hungry and still waiting. First food came after 45 minutes. Ala carte items served tentatively but the main food we came for which is the tomahawk did not arrive even after we finished all other ala carte items. Went down to check and they said they have sent the tomahawk only to our major disappointment it was sent to the wrong table! Super duper unbelievable. Ended up leaving with no tomahawk which we had came for. Super major disappointment. Food was good but portion is small for price paid. Picture on menu and what came totally different portion. No service recovery at all. We deposited rm480, total bill still have the cheek to ask for top up rm7.50. Not a big deal for us. Paid up and leave. The last for us definitely. Pretty sure can get better food at the same price with proper portion elsewhere. Avoid disappointment and celebrate your special occasion elsewhere. No thank you House89 for ruining a birthday...

Worst place eveRRRRRRRR!

I was 1st in queue, but a couple arrived after me & was ushered to a table before me!!!

Maybe they made reservations, but I didn't.

When asked if I was okay to sit beside them, which seemed like the only table that was empty, I replied "it doesn't matter as long as I have a seat as I was very hungry."

After waiting about 10 mins, I had to call for 1 of the service staff for the menu.

After another 10 mins, I called for them to take my order, but nobody appeared.

In the end, I walked out.

After reading the many negative reviews here, I'm glad I walked out.

I drove out to another restaurant nearby at Aeon Bandar Dato' Onn & was so satisfied that the service was prompt & food was great & not overpriced, such as stated on House89's menu!

A very disappointing experience coming from a Muslim eatery that is trying very hard to outdo others but could not even come up to the basic level of service standards.

My effort of trying to support our local Muslim eateries has gone unappreciated.

Such eateries are just so appallingly...

Wasted our time. Had the worst birthday venue. Placed an order a day advance, place deposit and were told orders confirm. Require deposit as Tomahawks Steak require 45mins cooking if place order on the spot and also food will be serve upon our Arrival time if placed deposit. Seated in VIP room but 1st food and not drinks served 30mins later, 15mins later, 1st drink out 7 served. Seated for 45mins and were told that some dish not available.. COMMON!! ORDERED A DAY ADVANCE, PLACED DEPOSIT AND ONLY BEEN TOLD ITEM NOT AVAILABLE AFTER 45MINS SEATED?? So already 45mins seated, waited for our main dish, Tomahawk. My goodness!! Not ready yet and told 15mins later. PASSED 1HR STILL NOT READY. TOLD THEM TO CANCEL AND ONLY TO KNOW, OUR MAIN DISH WERE SERVED BUT TO ANOTHER ROOM!! TOTALLY A DISAPPOINTMENT!! Nevertheless, the Manager, Nizam is very apologetic. But some SERVICE STAFF TRYING TO BE SARCASTIC.
