Food was bad. Maybe chef not in mood. Ordered Chicken Sabah Tea Soup (small portion) - soup okay la, but we only get like 5-6 slices of chicken, mushroom & carrot quite a lot maybe they can change the menu's name to mushroom chicken😂 Wild Vege(pucuk paku) with sardine - okay la nothing much to say because its sardine, u all know how its taste Ice cream split banana - creamy & not too sweet. Balance taste Teh tarik sabah tea - i think they forgot to tarik the tea Flavoured Sabah Tea (Peppermint) - I dont feel refresh because the peppermint is not there.
They have new attraction which is Canopy Walk, maximum spend time is 10minutes. Again...u have to pay to walk thru the bridge Adult :RM5 Children :RM3. (My personal opinion, maybe its will more nice if they dont charge restaurant's customer because well, u gonna spent a lot during dining, consider its complimentary for your restaurant's customer)
They also have souvenirs shop, plenty of flavoured tea available & affordable price.
Service is so so because during my time there, group of tourist there so staff more attentive to...
Read moreThe drive to this place is scenic and beautiful, but do note that some parts of the road are bumpy with potholes and damages—drive carefully. It gets quite hot in the area, but there’s ample parking. There’s a tree house with a short canopy walk, which is chargeable for 10 minutes (price is shown in the picture attached).
We enjoyed a lovely walk along the tea plantation trail—great for taking photos and soaking in the lush greenery but bear in mind when we were there, the place was super hot. So some umbrellas or hats are advisable.
We didn’t try their actual hot or cold teas, so we can’t comment on that. We only had some snacks, desserts, and drinks. Here’s what we tried: • Green tea smoothie was not good • Sirap Bandung was average • Banana fritters were okay • Green tea pancake was decent • Green tea ice cream was good • Mixed fruit platter was alright (pineapple was a bit sour, but watermelon was okay)
They have traditional clothings for rent for those who are interested.
Overall, it’s a nice place to visit for nature lovers and casual bites, with photo-worthy...
Read moreThe farm isn’t very big and the tea plants aren’t neatly arranged so if you’re expecting something like Cameron Highlands, this isn’t quite it. But on the bright side you can cover the whole area pretty quickly.
It can get hot, so wear something light and bring an umbrella. Most of the activities and attractions are in one area, which makes it easy to get around.
The tree house canopy walkway was short and not too high, don’t expect anything super adventurous but it gives a nice bird’s-eye view of the ladang. It’s also quite breezy up there.
The cafe was okay. The scones weren’t great, but the tomyam was good. We also had salted egg prawn, which was pretty sedap. Plenty of parking too, so no worries there.
Tips: Get the exotic flavour series of Sabah Tea as a souvenir. I grabbed a few, lemongrass, cinnamon and ginger. Wanted to try the agarwood tea at the cafe but it was sold out and I couldn’t find it at the souvenir shops either. When I tried looking elsewhere, they only had the usual teh o ais type. Thank god i got some already...
