Sushi King Summer Mall — Restaurant in Borneo

First of all, we ordered the beef black pepper RAMEN but the waiter/waitress WRONGLY key in the order as Beef Udon. Secondly, the image that was provided in the menu is incredibly misleading!! What we expected was a good reasonable portion of chicken however what we received was totally such a huge disappointment. When it arrived, it was only a small piece of chicken served on top of cold, flat and dry ramen, when we complained to the staff, they came back with another small piece of chicken. The toufu was served in a different tiny plate. I assumed they forgot to plate the toufu together with the dish. The drinks were served late, my drink was served without a stirring spoon or a straw (did they expect me to use my finger to stir the sugar syrup from the bottom of the glass?), the staff seemed to be quite untrained and lack of product knowledge. When I initially asked the waitress about the noodles, she said it was the bento...? She had to go back and forth to figure out what was served to us. We asked a few staff to help with our situation and everyone was running up and down trying to solve it and the manager kept disappearing. We only saw him during our payment at the counter and then he disappeared again! What is going on with the service and food quality?? No wonder the place was empty when we arrived. I just wished I read the reviews before going.. seriously not worth the...

Dined in here after more than a year of not visiting this establishment, seems to have some changes to the menu, however.. There's a few things unavailable at the time of visit. A few things to feedback about..

Upon sitting down, it took awhile before anyone noticed us and take our order.

Order was clearly written on the order slip by the waitress, however, some items were wrongly keyed in and not noticed by the waitress until we mentioned. (order set meal, arrived only the main protein/no sides, rice, soup)

Almost all the food served was cold.. Salmon skin is cold, ice cold. Like it was left in the open, not hot/crunchy like it should be.

Decided to try out the cheesy takoyaki, as it was not in the menu a year ago.. Once arrived, the cheese sauce tastes like some artificial cheese sauce, and the insides of the takoyaki... You might as well call it fried batter at that point.. Barely any fillings inside.. (pictures attached for references)

Things to improve;

Please double check the order, before keying in the system to avoid simple mistakes

Please inspect your food before serving to avoid unwanted things inside

Please at least serve warm/hot food

Might wanna consider improving your...

Lots of option to choose for sushi lovers. Apply to become a member and you will be entitled for huge promotions like Ramadhan Buffet, SUSHI BONANZA, Happy Hour and so on.

Although, in Summer Mall branch, service can be slow sometimes that once, I ordered for a Bento seet. Then I waited for it for about 20+ minutes for bento I just cant hold off my hunger I just grabbed the sushi on the belt and the cheesecakes...

maybe you can go here when it is busy and peak time instead of the lull time, unless you have sthg else on hand that would distract you from snatching up more plates while waiting...
