Damai Seafood Village — Restaurant in Iskandar Puteri

Actually no star at all. I was very disappointed. Waiting for our main dishes fish and squid but they even didn't prepared after 1 and half hour. Without proper apology from the staff, they also charge with pricey cost. I had to cancel my main dishes because no more appetite. Sakit hati. Imaging u paid rm 200 just for telur dadar and kailan ikan masin. Such a stupid restaurant. I will never recommend people to come here. The staff at kitchen (they said manager) and billing counter also rude. No apology at all. Of course the ambient, live performance and the place itself are beautiful. However we went there for the seafood, not the environment. I spent 200 for telur dadar and kailan, it was unacceptable. With this attitude, i believe they are going to destroy their business soon.

Of course my review here might not effecting people to come to their restaurant, but believe me at least 1 of 5 customer will facing the same expereice. Wish you will not be...

My personal view and review:

Seafood???

Location : just before bukit indah JB from JB town Parking: open parking is available Food / Product: Seafood. But during my visit, the food served seemed to be not properly cooked and the taste does not to our satisfaction compared to the price have to pay. Staff: good and sporting Price: compared to the food served I could say it was expensive. Seats/accommodation: Amenities: surau & toilet available Environment: cozy & nice especially with basking and songs you serve.

Dear customer, appreciate you could give some tips to the singer. Nice voice.

JUST AN ADVICE

The owner needs to look back on the food served and prepared and perhaps could test the food from time to time so that the chef has done his job consistently.

One of the few halal seafood place that was open at at 4pm. Ironically, the restaurant was flooded when we arrived as it was after a very heavy downpour.

Service was slow as most of the staff are occupied with mopping and cleaning of the restaurant as a result of the flash flood.

Nevertheless, food arrived within 30-45 mins of ordering which was acceptable and it surpasses our expectation after seeing the chaotic situation of the place. Lemon Chicken, Sambal lala and Sotong goreng tepung was particularly good. However the Damai Fish, which was a recommended dish was so-so, nothing special. More like Masak Kicap (Cooked with Soy Sauce). The Salted Egg crab was also good. Overall, have no complains regarding the food, all was good.

Will make another visit there...
