Food Review – 20 May 2025 What We Ordered: Shellout Sambal, Salted Fish Fried Rice with Fried Egg, Chicken Soup, Iced Milo & Apple Juice

We tried a variety of dishes at a humble local eatery, and honestly—it was so good!

The Shellout Sambal was the star of the meal. It was absolutely delicious, packed with flavor and spice. I even ate it without rice and it still tasted amazing—really impressive.

The Salted Fish Fried Rice came with a perfectly cooked fried egg on top. The flavors were well-balanced, and every bite was satisfying.

The Chicken Soup hit the spot too—rich, homey, and seasoned just right.

As for drinks, the Iced Milo and Apple Juice were refreshing and a nice finish to the meal.

The place itself is pretty basic—no air-conditioning, but the tables and chairs were neat and pleasant. There’s even a TV to keep you entertained. Service was quick and friendly.

I stayed at a hotel near Legoland and looked for a place that serves rice and tom yum for dinner. I found this restaurant and ordered tom yum, chicken egg wrap, kangkung (water spinach), and fried squid. The tom yum and fried squid were very delicious, while the rest were just average.
