I like the atmosphere & ambient of the restaurant and club. Nice scenery overseeing the golf course, trees and nature sighting. When my family enter the restaurant, it was very welcoming. It was a good first impression. As this was recommended by my in law, hence we decided to drop by for dinner during our stay in Desaru. The food is perfect and very delicious and well prepared. I love my lamb shank, but it could be abit more tendered. The rosemary taste is refreshing and the sauce matches the lamb shank perfectly. I enjoyed my meal, just that it could have been a little bit more tender. The burger is juicy, it’s not dry and hard at all. As juicy as it could be, it doesn’t make the bun goes soggy at all. It’s well drained and well cooked and prepared. Enjoyed the burger main course as well. The fries is a little bit over cooked though, we ordered a nugget for the kids, there’s a cut/slice in between the nugget, no issue though just wondering why there’s a cut and slice in between. The service overall was good, but can be improved. We ordered an apple juice from can, but instead they gave us the freshly squeeze. We asked them about it, there didn’t offer to change. Since it was squeeze already, we just accepted it anyway. In the midst of the clarification, the server were exchanging in Bahasa with each other asking each other what’s wrong, which I feel can be better managed behind the scene instead of infront of the customer. We ordered a bottle of wine, we started from the Argentina Malbec. But it was out of stock. Hence the server came back with a photo of their stock and asked me to choose from it. As we just wanted a table wine to go along with the beef and lamb, the photo selection is rather confusing for me, so I continue to go down the menu and selected the Spanish Merlot. One of the male server came with a bottle of Merlot, and we accepted it. When I went to settle the bill, i had a shock when the wine came out to be $258 instead of $88. The server explained to me that, we had accepted the bottle and had finished it, which I understand where he’s coming from too. My standpoint comes from, if you’re offering another bottle of wine 3x the price of the original, you ought to let me know. Or if the Spanish red wine is oos, you ought to let me know too, I would have went down the line going for a Pinot noir or a cab sav. If you are substituting another bottle for another bottle (common practices, equivalent pricing), you ought to let me know too. I’m not working there neither am I a sommelier. I told them, I drank the bottle, and I’m willing to pay. But I just felt, it could have been delivered better. 3x the pricing is a little bit overwhelming. It was negotiated and recovered in a way or so. Overall, we enjoyed the dinner, enjoyed the view. Hence the 4 ā­ļø If there’s no mishap of the wines, I would have really given a 5ā­ļø for it.

But it is easily noticeable and have many signs to reach there. The drive was smooth and tranquil. Restaurant : It is a short walk away from the parking area. The restaurant is spotlessly clean. When we came in, we were greeted by all the staffs there. The arrangement is nice and the seating area is comfy. The view is good, overlooking the sunset which I love the most. Service : Since we are the only person in the outlet at that time, the service was nano seconds. The waitress hand over the menu to us and took some ample time to explain whats to try in the selection. I like that when we were about to decide what to order, she decided to distance herself and let us browse the menu until we are ready and we call her back to the table (Camelia). All foods were fully served below than 13mins with the right temperature and great presentation. During payment, the cashier took time to ask if everything is okay to our liking and made small talks to us. Food : Mushroom Soup, usual taste soup with more than expected big portions. Nice toasted bread with crunch. Prawn Aglio Oilio, taste really good. This one is our go to sharing meal as we love the combination of the pasta. Fish and chips, taste really good. I have to give my compliment to the chef, the fish batter is really crunchy and not even oily. Every bite is super crispy. But I think the tartar sauce is a bit bland. Just a tad bland. The sauce can be improved. Boneless Chicken Chop, a very generous portion of chicken chop. Very thick meat and juicy as well. Taste really good. Big Easy Burger, I didn’t know that it will be served with sunny side. When I cut the burger, it drips and tarnish the taste of the meat. My mistake honestly. I believe for next time, you can instruct waitress to ask diners because personally I would love a full cooked fried egg. The Lai Chi Kang, taste really good. But I detest the serving using small cute jug. Maybe can use small bowl for easy eating. Satisfaction : 100% satisfied with the ambience, service and food quality. The view is amazing. 6pm – 7.30pm is the best time to be in the outlet. I will totally come again next time and will gladly recommend this to my friends and colleagues. My appreciation to Camelia and Fikri for being very attentive to our table and made the good dining experience even one level better.

I will recommend not to come here for food. Atmosphere is good. However, food is really horrible. Photos with review below.

Meat Platter - Uncooked chicken (see photos) and not fresh beef and lamb. You could taste that the beef and lamb is kept in the freezer for very long.

Panna Cotta - Watery blueberry sauce; means not freshly prep and likely from jam jar. Couldn't finish it

Anchovies - Very bad spicy taste, and wouldn't recommend it with starters

Seafood platter - Overthawed and kept with other foods in the freezer; can taste other food apart from the seafood you are eating. Not recommended.

Service - besides being the only 2 tables for the night, orders were forgotten 3 times. First, drinks didn't come. 2nd, wrong drinks came. Third, forgotten the dessert order which waited for 45mins, but served in 3mins after asking again.

I really do not recommend to come here, and to go some order western place that is nearby as well.

Ending note: I did get a stomachache...
