BlackStone Kitchen&Bar 黑石 — Restaurant in Johor

We went around 8 p.m. and the place was already full inside, but luckily our friends arrived earlier, so we didn’t have to wait for a table. A live band started playing just as we arrived, and they were really good, adding a lively atmosphere to the evening.

We ordered curry pasta, softshell crab bun, chicken chop, and plenty of Sapporo beer. The food was tasty and definitely worth the price, especially for the generous portions of meat and seafood. As expected, the beer costs more than the food, but it was worth it—Sapporo is definitely my favorite among the options here.

The place is clean and well-maintained, including the toilets, which is always a plus. Since this is a kitchen bar, the music volume is on the higher side, so conversations inside require speaking louder. It’s a great spot if you’re here for music, drinks, and a lively vibe, but not the best choice if you’re looking for a quiet chat—unless you choose to sit outside.
