I wanted to visit the Briyani Hut by Yuga after reading fantastic reviews. Sadly, the Fish Briyani set is only available on weekends, Fri-Sun.
Manager at Gokul Kitchen, an Indian vegetarian (plant based) restaurant, next to Briyani Hut was very friendly and helpful. Apparently, both restaurants are operated by the same owner.
He recommended the Gokul Banam drink, which am loving it! First time having Banam cardamon spices kinda tea. Soothing to the throat (I was recovering from a cold). Pani Poori is my all time favourites. However, the Plant Based Burger was a disappointment patty is flavourless & soggy; a pathetic 1-2 piece lettuce, cucumber; sliced cheese straight from the fridge! Basically, a ‘cold’ burger without even a quick toast. I had shared the remainder half burger with the Manager ~for him to taste it himself.
Surprisingly, the said burger is one of their most popular item. Alas ~incomprehensible, as that’s the last I would wanna eat (roadside Fenny’s Egg Burger myr4-5 would probably taste a lot better!)
He offered sampling of Soy Chili Tofu & dessert (green cake) on the house for me to try, and I liked it. Perhaps, I should try just the Indian cuisines next time :)
Anyway, I had feedback the same to the manager. I also had the opportunity to meet with the Owner’s Wife. Hopefully, there’s an improvement & my very best wishes to the success 🙏
Overall, it’s a clean & comfortable dining room with AC. Newly renovated. It’s not near the Kluang City Center, I grab there...

We were eager to try the Pani puri, dahi puri, aglio olio rasam and garlic butter prawns. But they serve it at dinner hours. My friend told the akka that we came from Singapore, and we're very eager/fond of trying those items. Then akka went in and checked for us and said dahi puri and Pani puri have - must wait Abit longer 10-15mins. (Thank you very much sister 🙏🏻)
We had 1 veg Thali meal w/extra rice, 1 Thali meal with 2 green chili mutton, 1 veg mutton claypot biryani, Gobi Manchurian, tahu sambal, rose sharbat, Gokul ganam, morru. All of them were super delicious 5/5.👍🏻
Then after eating we went for our favorite Pani puri and dahi puri. Pani puri 5/5 👍🏻 Dahi puri 3.5/5 ( the standard is there, but the intensity of strong immense taste wasn't really there. Nonetheless a great food. For those who crave dahi puri.)
Then Anna also let us try their sweet as complimentary, we loved it so much we packed 9 pieces of it. Since the place wasn't busy, as we came slightly after lunch hrs on a Sunday, the Anna also had conversations with us to build rapport with his customers.
Will highly recommend to everyone who's traveling to kluang, to try this place 👍🏻 I will definitely come again.

Read moreI recently celebrated my brother's birthday at Gokul's Kitchen and it was an absolute blast! From the delicious food to the fantastic service, everything contributed to a truly memorable evening.
Food: The menu offered a great variety of dishes, catering to all tastes in our group. We opted for a mix of appetizers and entrees to share, and everything was cooked to perfection. Especially recommend 'Gobi Manchurian'- it was absolutely divine!
Place: The place was spacious enough for our group of 25 people, with comfortable seating and air conditioning. It offered a nice level of privacy, allowing us to chat, laugh, and celebrate without disturbing other diners.
Service: The owner was very friendly and helpful to us to organize our evening. Speaking of the staff, they were outstanding! The staffs were incredibly helpful and made sure our experience was exceptional. They were very accommodating to our group size and any dietary restrictions.
Thank you for the good service and...
