Kebun Haus Recreational and Cafe — Restaurant in Johor

I can't say it is a hidden gem, but when u are in Segamat u can give it a try. Besides cafe they also offer glamping area. I personally like their concept but it can be better especially on their landscape desain and food. Their cafe area is not flat, so it feels uncomfortable to sit. Suprisingly they have a small pool inside, we don't try tho. There is a surau as well. For a better experience, avoid coming after sunset because it will be a lot of mosquitos attacking youuuu an bite every inch of ur skin. Beware.

About their food & beverges, we ordered Mee seafood laksa : we expect mee goreng laksa, turns out mee kuah laksa. It is overly sweet for our tongue. Definitely not gonna reorder it in the future. Lempeng : delicious, their kuah curry is sooooo tasty. It will be perfect combination if they make mee curry (instead of mee laksa). But the sambal ikan bilis is sweet. Matcha burnt cheese cake : delicious just like what we had in KL Kebun latte : nothing special but I can taste the coffee mocca : this one is better than the latte.give if a try

Anyway maybe we were just too sensitive bout this one. When we ordered mee seafood laksa we asked whether we can request to change the squid to shrimp because we are alergic to squid, the waiter said yes it can. Then, he informed the staff (maybe she is gonna cook the food) about our request. She responded with a loud voice saying to the waiter, "but this is mee laksa seafood, it must contain squid lah". Food we had was AWESOMEE!! Love it. My favourite is their Carbonara Spaghetti!! They have good mala Aglio Olio and curry chicken too. All three definitely worth trying!! Love love their music playlist!! Love their atmosphere!! (Surprisingly no mosquito AT ALL, windy, peaceful atmo with a lil music playing in the background😌) Besides, our attending waiter was also friendly and patient, even with bunch of questions we asked about the food. The only two things that could be improved would be their network (not sure if they could do anything with this) and their iced matcha latte i would say? My first-ever glamping experience has been amazing. The staff provided excellent service, with all the food and drinks prepared to perfection. I stayed at A Haus Glamping, where the room is neat and comfortable. The bathroom is clean and fully stocked with shower gel, shampoo, and other essentials. I love the private bathroom connected to the bedroom for extra privacy. We also had fun making s’mores (marshmallow with biscuits by the campfire) 🔥—such a great activity! The only downside is the poor Wi-Fi connection—it’s practically unusable. Overall, it’s been a great experience! I’ll definitely be recommending it to all my friends...
