There are communication problems with the staff. When unpacking the goods purchased at the Drivethru at home, they sometimes do not match the goods ordered and paid for.
Update after my visit on 02/20/23: For my daughter I had ordered 3 pieces Chicken REGULAR á la carte for RM 16.71. However, Chicken SPICY was served. My daughter doesn't eat it because it's too spicy for her. When we complained, the clerk told us that we had to wait 35 minutes for REGULAR. (Yes! You read that right. He didn't say half an hour, he said 35 minutes. ???) We declined and asked for a replacement. We were offered 9 nuggets and accepted. When these were delivered to the table I asked about the difference in price. I was told it was the same price. I had doubts and compared the prices on the order screen. 9 chicken nuggets a la carte cost RM 12.41. So I was lied to and should be cheated out of around RM 4. I then went to the counter and claimed my RM 4. The clerk actually started a lengthy argument with me, arguing he couldn't pay it out and his manager said he should give me a coke for it etc. etc.. However, I consistently insisted on a refund of the difference. After about 10 minutes of wasted time in fruitless discussion, he then threw me 4 totally crumpled 1 RM bills with a look that could kill. There were lots of people there and by the time we got to the counter and after having paid for the meal, they told us that we couldn't eat inside McD after 10pm. I thought the government imposed a cut of time of 12 midnight. They rudely told us that they had to clean up the place with disinfectant and wouldn't allow us to dine in at all. It wasn't our fault that our of the three available counters, only one was operated by a cashier whilst the other two counters were closed causing a massive que resulting in us getting to the counter after 10pm.
It is indeed unreasonable for them to not let us eat in because of their own fault of not manning the other two counters. And moreover the staff were just very rude towards us especially seeing that one of our family members was a handicapped person.
In my opinion, MC D staff at this branch ought to be sent for more training on how to communicate with their customers and they should also be taught to have more compassion towards the...
