📍 Hidden Gem Alert @ Tangkak Pitstop (Exit 235)!
Just a left turn after cruising through Exit 235 toll, and you’ll find yourself at the Tangkak Pitstop — a humble stretch of shop lots hiding a serious foodie secret. Tucked into the corner unit is one of the best-kept secrets in town: an unassuming beef noodles joint that’s all about flavor, not frills.
We made it just in time before they closed at 4 PM, and thank goodness we did! We went for the dry version of their signature beef noodles — and wow, what a treat. The noodles were springy and soaked up the savory, beefy sauce perfectly. But here’s the real kicker: their homemade chili. Add a spoonful (or two if you're brave), and it kicks everything up to the next level — spicy, tangy, and absolutely mouthwatering.
And don’t skip the beef soup that comes on the side — warm, rich, and soul-soothing. Every sip makes you want to go back for more.
💸 Price starts from just RM12.00 per portion — a steal for something this satisfying.
Whether you're passing by or planning a road trip, this spot is worth the detour. Beef noodle lovers, consider this your new pilgrimage...

I have tried the other couple of times before, no mention of names.
Now this stall, I will review several aspects:
Environment: Very good, spacious, airy, clean and even comes with options for VIP room. Service: Prompt and good Menu: lots of options, besides ngau lam Noodle options: 3 choices of yellow mee, mee hoon, kway teow and even rice. Broth: Taste herbal, delicious, tad too salty. Beefy taste to a certain extent is masked. I will drink a couple of spoonful, but somehow I stopped cos its too rich.
Overall verdict, my review of 4 stars is purely on the dish of ngau lam noodle as I am comparing them with the other big contender.
The other contender serves a more hearty broth, a soup base that you can't stop slurping down till the last drop. It gives me a higher satisfaction when I walk out after a meal.
However, this is all also good. If I need to pick one for a meal, I would choose the other as I don't have the luxury to have both of them regularly as I am not a local there. I am staying...

Service is good, atleast that's my humble opinion. The towkay was very friendly, he offered my mum a huge bunch of bananas with compliments.
Later he came over again and offered us with compliments a celery green apple juice.
We ordered several bowls of beef kway teow. This was our second visit to the restaurant.
In addition we ordered several bowls of beef balls as is evident in the attached pictures.
A must try is the featured Claypot Beef Soup and the Claypot Mix Beef Dry / Spicy.
Another dish that is worth trying is the Claypot Ribs soup.
