Tengah Chinese Roti Canai — Restaurant in Johor

Like other people said this place is really crowded. And of course served food took at least half an hour. Their concept of serving roti canai is when you ordered 2 pcs they let you eat one piece first then after you have done they serve you second piece. But this depends on how many you guys order. But I saw other table they ordered two pieces they served them two pieces at once. So sometimes I felt this was not fair enough. Roti canai price one piece is RM1.30 if compare to Malay shops it was expensive. And I drank coffee it was not nice. Foods - Roti canai is very nice and can add in some interesting veggies. the economic noodles are good as well, but might be a little bit too oily for some. the packed nasi lemak is really smell nice, should try some if they are still available since they come in small packaging, no harm. the coffee and tea we tried were very nice too. Came around 10am on a weekday morning. It was busy, about 30 minutes waiting and the roti take some time to serve depending on how many customers are in front of you. By 10.45am, they are turning new customer away.

Busy and loud environment, expect to wait some time for the roti. But, very tasty. If it is a 30 minute wait I think that is acceptable. 1hr+ wait, then not worth it.

Come here if you have no appointments and free time to wait. If rushing, then avoid and go elsewhere.
