Kak Su Nasi Kerabu, a neighborhood eatery specializing in East Coast cuisine, offers a moderate yet satisfying taste of traditional Malaysian dishes. The diverse selection, featuring Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Lemak, Nasi Dagang, and an array of kueh, reflects the rich culinary heritage of the East Coast. The abundance of choices caters to a variety of preferences, ensuring a delightful exploration of flavors for patrons.

One distinctive aspect of Kak Su Nasi Kerabu is its self-service concept, enhancing the casual and laid-back dining experience. Diners are encouraged to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere, contributing to the authenticity of the East Coast culinary journey. However, this convenience comes at the cost of limited seating and the challenge of parking, which might pose inconveniences during peak hours.

While the prices remain moderate, aligning with the neighborhood's charm, the overall experience at Kak Su Nasi Kerabu is defined by its diverse menu and self-service dynamics. It stands as a welcoming haven for those seeking a genuine taste of East Coast flavors in a casual setting, despite the minor drawbacks in parking...

It’s usually crowded but, don’t worry, there’s always vacant seats & table as patrons come & go.

Parking spaces are limited. To save time, park opposite the road or at places near the place. However, be extra careful with children & park your vehicle responsibly. It’s a busy main road & there are other shops beside it and try not to block their entrance.

It’s sometime quite difficult to get the waiter serving the food to take your order because there is no proper queue. One tip: Stand close to the food counter and place your order politely. They seem not to focus on you but, actually they are. They just taking order one by one. And don’t forget to smile. (Although, putting up a simple queue system will help a lot. I have no idea why they are not doing this).

Price wise quite ok & not that expensive. Plenty of food choices (nasi lemak, nasi dagang, nasi kerabu, nasi ayam, nasi putih). Plenty of side dishes and kuih too!

They will usually calculate the prices when you settle down to eat and pass you the note with the price.

Enjoy the food with...

Some of the best Kelantanese food I've had! If you're looking to dine at a kampung place that is the quintessential Malaysian experience, then don't skip this place!! The gravy for the nasi dagang was delicious, full of coconut milk 😋, the kuih talam durian, apam, tapai pulut was all spot on! Nasi kerabu with cili sumbat was sooo good. It's a buffet style so you have a choice of over ten different kuah and lauk. They can be paired with your choice of nasi lemak, nasi kerabu, nasi dagang and just plain white rice. The teh ice was the Thai style milk tea and was soooooo good. It was a 45 minute drive from where I'm located in mutiara Damansara, but definitely worth...

Tempat duduk banyak, so tak payah risau pasal seat. Cuma, kalau nak komplen sikit – parking agak limited. Tapi still boleh je park tepi-tepi jalan, janji pandai cari. Jangan block laluan orang sudah. Sistem dia layan diri, so korang ambil lauk sendiri dan bawa ke kaunter. Waktu aku pergi tu, staf kat kaunter ada yang nampak macam tak berapa friendly. Mungkin tengah penat, sebab ramai orang time tu. Tapi takde la sampai rude. Standard tempat makan busy. Soal repeat? Confirm aku repeat.

Impressed with RELA help for “Bungkus” and dine-in queue separation. To tapao, walk straight in to the table filled with delicious and beautiful dishes all lined up. I had Nasi Kerabu with Daging Bakar, Nasi Lemak Biasa, Nasi Lemak with telur mata and ayam sambal. My friends said the sambal was sweet and not spicy, but the party was super spicy 🥵- I love it; tho the daging was a bit too dry for me. Would have loved more budu (will ask for more in the future). Service was fast payment was easy - I used GrabPay. I want to try the other dishes in the future.
