Exceptional Arabic Cuisine Experience in Langkawi!

I had the pleasure of dining at this outstanding Arabic restaurant in Langkawi, owned and operated by a warm and hospitable Malaysian family. The establishment offers a diverse selection of delectable dishes, ranging from authentic Arabic delicacies like Mandi, Kabsa, Beryani, and mixed grills to seafood and international fare. Additionally, the restaurant features a variety of appetizing sides, including Hummus, Tabouleh, French fries, and cucumber yoghurt.

Without hesitation, I award this restaurant a 5-star rating. The food surpassed all expectations, with special commendation for the incredibly flavorful Hummus and the scrumptious Arabic bread.

The restaurant boasts both indoor and outdoor seating areas, providing guests with picturesque views of a charming farm. It is an ideal setting for a memorable dining experience.

Considering the high-quality cuisine and the overall experience, the prices offered by this establishment are quite reasonable in comparison to other Arabic restaurants in the area. During my visit, we ordered 1 mix grill, 1 Mandi, 1 Kabsa, an extra serving of Mandi rice, French fries, 2 yoghurts, Arabic bread, and water, resulting in a bill of approximately MYR 250.

To add to the pleasant ambiance, the staff, comprising the owner's daughters, speaks in both Arabic and English.

A most delicious meal with super nice staff! We came came here on our last day on Lagkawi, after seeing the skybridge. I’m so glad we did! There were tons of options to satisfy all palettes, including seafood, lamb, and chicken dishes. There was no way to try everything, but I would love to come back some time in the future. We got an appetizer sampler platter with three types of hummus / baba ganoush, a couple dolmades, a variety of olives, and bread.

For a main course we went with one chicken shistouk (pieces of grilled chicken) meal, and one biryani chicken quarter meal. The shistouk came with French Fries, and the biryani with rice. The spices and flavors were super tasty and easy on our western palate (we haven’t had much Arabic food, but after this meal we want more!).

The restaurant itself has an inside and outside seating area, and the outside covered patio looked like it had a nice breeze. The food came out amazingly quickly- both for us and the other tables we saw get served. The women who took our order were so nice and so helpful and responsive. Overall...
