Nenda Cafe — Restaurant in Kedah

Just came here today for late lunch. Lots of my orders were not available due to stock up issue (early month stock up) according to the staff. So i ordered: pan seared salmon, [6/10] nasi briyani with chicken grilled [5/10] spaghetti tomyam [8.5/10] Mushroom soup [7.5/10] Premium fries [8/10] The salmon was average tasting. Not that great but not that bad either. Seasoning was so-so. Nasi briyani was okay too. A bit tasteless for me. Chicken not really well seasoned. But portion was generous. The best is spaghetti tomyam. Was really good. One of the best I have tasted. Beverages i ordered: Iced lemon tea Coke Matcha houjicha Beverages also was average but on a pricey side. However I am satisfied with the service from the staff. Very attentive and very polite - 10/10! The environment of the shop not really great. I chose to sit inside but it was rather hot. Open concept but with aircond. Not really understand but it was okay....

Most dishes served there are superb except for the lamb beriyani. What I expected to be a slow-cooked lamb in beriyani rice was actually a beriyani rice and lamb chop. This is rather sad and disappointing because their Oglio Olio is definitely the best in town, but their lamb beriyani didn't quite match to that level of expectation. I understand that they might've wanted to do something differently about the lamb beriyani, and it's a good thing. The beriyani rice itself is very 'herbal' and I didn't quite finish the rice due to that.

Nevertheless, the customer service is great and very customer-friendly. The atmospher inside of the cafe is very nicely decorated. Good job....

The service was great, i just need to wait for less than 15mins for my order to arrive. The staffs there are friendly and helpful. I must say that even though the time to prepare my meal were quick but the taste are shockingly great! I ordered Spaghetti Seafood and the prawns & squids looks fresh. But i do have 1 suggestion for the beverage. I ordered Green Tea Ice but they only provided a small amount of sugar syrup which I think one is not enough. But, their Peach Tea Ice is amazing!! Everything was fine but there were some small insects flying around which was quite disturbing. Overall, i would say I am satisfied with this...
