Great stand with fried Malay sweet delicacies "MANJA" next to Kak Hawa: kuih, small ketupats filled with sticky rice-sambal ikan terie), comfort foid noodle bowl with kind of a besengeh sauce and veggies, AND THE BEST DONUTS( I never liked donuts but this is different, with a subtle banana or pandan flavour...just great!) locals know to find them ....just drive by car or scooter and use the KAK HAWA address . You won't regret the ride and you will take some stuff home/to you hotel. Their drinks are nice too- open from 12 till 19h. Check google maps for film and photos!

If you passingby around this area, Restoran Kak Hawa is a MUST, for Malay food. It's just Warong tepi jalan, easy parking at roadside. Most of their noodles and fried rice are in range of MYR 5-7. There is a "gerai kuih" serving "Pisang Goreng Bijan" and many local Kuih-Muih. Just grab anything, no doubt all are good. We went here, 2 days continously and tasted most of their menu and drinks. Just be precautions on their drinks, it's too sweet. Inform them to make "kurang manis" if you have diabetes.

YOU MUST STOP HERE! Omg the taste of the food is amazing! Stopped by accident and found the most delicious sour beef soup with a lot of meat at only 5 RM. The fried rice is also very tasty and costs only 4 RM. While eating, I saw a lot of locals stopping and shopping some fried treats. They offered us samples and end up buying a bag full of donuts and local dishes for our next morning. One of the best places I have eaten in Langkawi.

A HIDDEN GEM AND AMONG THE BEST FOOD IN LANGKAWI. We happened to stop by this restaurant by chance after a fishing expedition. From the outside you wouldn't expect this to be a good, what more great place to eat. MasyaAllah how we were wrong. From the freshly made donuts in several flavours (pandan and red velvet is a must try) to the nasi daging masak merah, nasi ayam masak merah, nasi ayam kunyit and sup ayam they should up there with the best of the best in Langkawi. We ordered our drinks to be less sweet and they actually were less sweet but still taste good.

The restaurant looks raw and rusty yet eating the best food in Langkawi amidst rubber plantation and kampung setting, this restaurant is a must visit and must return to visit for everyone. You'll be surprised by how many foreign visitors were here too.

Oh forget to mention, the price is unbelievably affordable bordering on very cheap. Truly 5 stars. May Allah bless this restaurant and those who work and...

We stumbled upon this place while passing through, and it turned out to be a nice little discovery. The food felt truly local, simple, fresh, with some spice that made the meal all the more enjoyable for our tastes.

Everything was very reasonably priced at around 8-9rm which made it feel like a small treat without any fuss. It’s the sort of spot I’d gently suggest for a quick, unhurried bite if you’re in the area.

The staff were kind and attentive, even with a bit of a language barrier, they served up some really solid dishes. A humble stop that...
