Restoran Seafood Anis Tanjung Rhu — Restaurant in Kedah

It was the only food stall open when we were here and seeing many google reviews saying food is nice (from foreign tourists) we decided to give a try. The indoor seating is a bit stuffy and warm probably due to the heat directly from metal roof as the building is quite low and without ceiling. The sea breeze was blocked by many other structures or stalls or trees or maybe peoples. Outdoor seating might look hot due to sunlight but it’s more windy and comfortable. Long waiting time, as described in many reviews. It’s seems there are only 2 cooks even it seems there are many workers. What I don’t like is that burger is not difficult to make but I don’t see there is always a person there, I saw the guy was like on and off making burger and I have to wait like 20 mins but he wasn’t there after I ordered. There was another table foreign tourist who came and ordered after me but they get the burger before me I have to question the staff there. Local food, taste so so except Nasi goreng kampung really nice and Nasi goreng tomyam also nice. Nasi goreng pataya normal, kailan too old and ikan masin taste too light, kerabu sotong quite good, udang goreng tepung the prawn like too soft, ayam maybe boiled before cooked or not fresh and the seasoning...

Lovely food and very fast service (this was a Wednesday afternoon) - I had the Nasi Goreng Tanjung Rhu Special and coconut shake with milk (as recommended by someone else here on Google) - food was tasty, and I believe a decent price especially considering the restaurant’s location (the nicest beach I have visited on Langkawi so far :) Lovely view from the tables as well :) Around the corner from the the start of the mangrove tours so worth a stop if your heading this way - can definitely...

This restaurant serve very delicious food like their Tom Yum very tasty and I think it's the best Tom Yum I'd never try in Langkawi. The price also reasonable as good as their portion and taste.
