Secret Recipe Tanah Merah — Restaurant in Kelantan

I came to celebrate my birthday but was disappointed 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻.

I found it inconvenient that the restaurant closed earlier than expected, disrupting our plans. We arrived at 9 pm to dine in, but the staff informed us that the kitchen had already closed. They suggested we could only order cheese tart. Upset, I requested to speak to the manager, but he refused to see us and instead sent another staff member.

The staff informed us that we could order if we chose a soup-based dish. Confused, I questioned why the information had changed. Initially, the kitchen was closed, and now we could order. Insisting on seeing the manager, the staff directed us to the cashier.

At the cashier, the manager, when asked why he couldn’t come to our table, replied arrogantly, ‘I am busy. What do you want?’ Displeased with his customer service, I explained that I wanted to order, but earlier, the staff had mentioned the kitchen was closed. The manager abruptly responded, ‘Order if you want. I don’t care.’ I demanded an explanation for the inconsistent information and questioned why they couldn’t have served us initially. The manager arrogantly said, ‘Just file your complaint. I don’t care.’

The behavior of the staff was disheartening; some members displayed rudeness, negatively impacting the overall atmosphere of the dining environment. Customer service is a crucial aspect of any dining experience, and it’s essential for staff to maintain a polite and accommodating demeanor.

Most terrible restaurant in my life experience. Sat down at 9:04pm with my mother who is using a cane. Waiter guy came and told us last order at 9pm. I explained it's only 9:04pm but he insists no dine in. So we both had to leave. As I walked to my car, it started to rain heavily. By the time I reach at the restaurant to pick up my mother, it was super heavy rain. I walked in the rain, soaking wet while protecting my mother as she get into the car.

I'm really pisses now. Secret Recipe is now blacklisted for life. I will make sure ALL my company celebrations all banned from being held at Secret Recipe. I can't believe this is the quality of your service at this outlet. Totally disgusting!!!

I ended up going to the McDonald's at the Petronas instead. They never chase us away like Secret...

Seriously sorry but i have to mention this. Kindly improve the customer service. Staff macam acuh tak acuh nak layan customer. As someone who have been here for several times for whole cake takeaway, what i observed is that seems that staffs not really willing to entertain and answer questions. No smile also. Better improve the customer service. Understand if sometimes staffs got problems, but dont show unpleasant attitude...
