Booked for 12 pax of people at 6pm, we arrived at 6.04pm, there was a long Q already.. luckily we got our table after 6mins of waiting. Our tables were inside the a/c room. Good thing we don't need the ticket number like those walk ins and skipped the line.

Food was delicious, recommended miang king siakap, daging harimau menangis, perut bulat bakar and kerabu mangga.. but one thing we were frustrated on.. the rice came very late.. my family members have eaten 70% of the main course meals without the rice.

Price wise i think it was within affordable range. For us, a total of Rm 492 for 12 pax of people which means around Rm 40++/pax. Maybe comparing to other restaurants in Kelantan maybe this cafe is a little bit expensive.

Room of improvements can be done in future: Do not accept more people if you cannot cope the huge crowd, perhaps we came on friday which is the 'long weekend' for the state (PH, friday n saturday). Maybe can limit the takeaway/deliveries so you can focus on the walk ins and pre-booked. Pity to the elderly on wheelchair waiting outside for their turn. Use QR code for the menu, place it on each table.. so that your workers can focus on the incoming orders and clearing the table faster. Rice comes first before meals by all means. Can make it self service, provided the plates or containers (for a family), readily available or pre wrapped it like nasi lemak and place them on the table.

Lastly, for the left over food you couldn't finish, got containers at the counter for you to pack up the food. - thumbs up to this cause we didn't need to wait for the workers to come and pack for us.

Nice experience to dine in here. To come again? Maybe after they improve...

This place comes highly recommended, with my friend from Kota Bharu suggesting it. We visited on a Thursday night during the school holiday and encountered a long queue, but fortunately, we were seated within approximately 30 minutes. The renowned dish here is called "Daging Harimau Menangis," which translates to "Crying Tiger Meat." Don't worry, it doesn't involve actual tiger meat. Instead, it refers to the incredibly delicious beef that would make a tiger shed tears of joy. The menu offers an extensive selection, but as we were a group of 2.5, we opted for the seafood platter, which included the famous Harimau Menangis dish, along with a serving of white tomyum.

The grilled seafood had a pronounced smoky flavor, while the signature meat was richly seasoned and flavorful, although some pieces were a bit chewy. The freshness of the prawns varied, with some being less fresh than others. Unfortunately, the salad leaves accompanying the platter were dirty and had dark edges. The clear tomyum was decent in taste.

Considering the limited time I had in Kota Bharu, this dining experience didn't leave a strong impression that would make me want to revisit. Interestingly, my friend recommended another restaurant in Kota Bharu city center with a similar menu, which I would be inclined to try next time if I have the opportunity to visit again. If you happen to be in the vicinity, you could give this place a try, but personally, I might opt for the alternative option...
