Ikan-Ikan — Restaurant in Langkawi Island

Last month we booked the Cabana Dinner at Ikan Ikan to celebrate a special evening during our honeymoon.

We had an amazing evening and could not have asked for a more romantic setting. We saw the sunset over the sea and enjoyed a delicious traditional Malay dinner.

Our waiter Nesar (I hope I write your name correctly) was very attentive and we grew more and more fond of him during our dinner. After the main course he asked if we would like to have the dessert near a campfire on the beach. He carefully lit the fire (which wasn't very easy due to the wind, but it worked out :) ) and prepared cosy seats and a table with our dessert. Ikan Ikan quickly became our favorite restaurant at the Four Seasons Langkawi!

From the moment we arrived, the experience was elevated by a staff member who was incredibly kind and helpful. He shared interesting stories about Langkawi, Malaysia, and even the resort itself. We learned so much during our first day on the island—it was such a special touch!

When the food arrived, we were blown away. We got recommended some vegetarian dishes, and each one was absolutely stunning in flavor and presentation

To top it all off, the beachside location makes Ikan-Ikan...

Had a lovely meal here with the restaurant overlooking the stunning beach. I ordered the chicken satay, seabass and lemon and lime sorbet to finish which were all great. The staff were also friendly and attentive.

The only cons is the amount of flies and insects in the evening - the staff did bring out a citronella candle but by the time this was brought out my food was sadly contaminated. I would recommend an alternative insect repellent like a coil that's more effective to ensure a more...
