新錦興餐館 — Restaurant in Malacca

This is the worse customer service I had experience in my life. We have reservations on 7pm but till 835pm we still no get our food serve so what is the point for reservation?! At 8pm we ask the girl in white shirt where is our food it’s our turn soon? She just told us next will be our order. We have observed the table late then us already been serve but the lady server denied and want to check her cctv. We told her just go ahead and see.Maybe our order is small amount that why they miss out our order again and again. The service line should no be like this, the end we wait till 840pm we decided to left. This is my first time post negative review and the restaurant eating place and kitchen very dirty. If you cannot wait just don’t visit their shop, they don’t care about earnings or customer experience. They just do what they like because this is their family basic...

If I could give them zero stars I could. First of the head chef / owner is downright rude to me and my family when I tried to eat the first time at this shop. He literally chased us away paying customers who just wanted a good meal.

Then my friend went with a larger group and they got to dine in, found out that they will only serve a minimum of 5 dishes, if your ordered less they will tell you to give up your table and turn you away. ( In the most rude manner you can get with the chef screaming at your face). Just because there was only 3 of us and he know we will not order more than 5 dishes.

Found out from my friends the food is so so only, and was not the great. I will be honest with you if you ever visit Machap Baru and wanna take in the sight's, avoid this restaurant...

Dishes are delicious and taste good. However, it was packed and crowded during CNY and the dishes has not many choices. Service was great even crowded.
