Read moreI have been here only once with my agely parents drove for 45minutes just to be disappointed with their service and food. The place is full of flies, overcrowded that the staff could not cope, staff got no manners. No 1- don’t know how to explain the menu. If you ask, they make face. As if we should know. No 2- serve dishes to the table without telling the dish name and came without fork and spoon (located elsewhere). At least have the courtesy to tell. No 3- Ordered Pizza, wanted to eat there. Pizza came late more than 1Hour! 3times I went to the Pizza counter and the boy was so RUDE he raised his voice “Belum Lagi La, nanti dah siap ada no kita panggil “. The screen to call out no is NOT working! We told the staff, he can’t be bothered. By the time we had finished our meal, so we packed the pizza. Pizza is lousy, so little ingredients yet expensive. Verdict: Overall food is just SO SO, not value for money. People may go because it’s a lake area. This is what happens when the restaurant is run by a bunch of Malay lazy youngsters who are not trained. Not a single adult /manager at sight. I have commented the same on their IG but they deleted off. I won’t ever go here again, even if the food is free. Waste of time, money and...
Read moreMarch 2022: Their western food was marvelous. I tried the grilled steak. The beef was cooked well done, it was slightly dry, I prefer my steak to be cooked medium rare, but it is still edible and chewable so, I like it. It was tasty for sure.
The coleslaw and black pepper sauce accompanying the beef were also good. Their sweet potato fries were to die for. Absolutely delicious!
I also tried their spaghetti bolognese, delicious but it was a tad sour.
I can say that this cafe provide homemade food. I love that. Overall, this place is worth to try and I will revisit this place again in the future.
Update (August 2022): I went to the Cafe recently, ordered Chicken Grill. Its portion was satisfying, taste was so-so. No more sweet potato fries with the set. It came with normal potato fries.
My family ordered Chicken Chop and Buttermilk Chicken. They were good not the best, worth to try, don't expect too much. Buttermilk Chicken was spicy. Good spicy.
We also bought Carrot Susu and Fresh Markisa juice. Drink portion was extremely big. 1 cup can be shared among 2-3 people. The drinks were nice. I did like the Fresh Markisa Juice, it tasted sour with a hint of sweetness plus, it helped with digestion. I recommend it,...
