Ngopi D’Laut Cafe — Restaurant in Malacca

Ordered the chicken chop but was really disappointed with the quality. Instead of a proper juicy chicken thigh, they used what felt like frozen chicken, more like oversized chicken tenders coated in batter and breadcrumbs. Worse still, one piece was undercooked and still red/raw on the inside. I returned it, but instead of replacing it with a fresh one, they just dipped the same piece back into hot oil to cook it again. They only replaced that one piece and served it back together with the rest of the plate I had already eaten from, very unhygienic and not the standard I’d expect from any food outlet. If I were the restaurant owner, I’d replace the entire plate fresh. Very poor service in that sense.

Drinks were okay, but a bit overpriced considering this isn’t a proper cafe with aircond, just a roadside setup with tables by the beach.

That said, the overall concept is nice, chill beach vibes and a cozy outdoor environment. Might come back for the lepak vibes, but definitely not coming back...

I was drawn here by positive reviews, and the space itself lives up to the hype. It's a great spot for a relaxed hangout, offering a variety of seating from casual laid-back sofas to more upright chairs.

A word of caution about the ambiance: depending on where you sit, the music from the speakers can be quite loud. While the playlist was entertaining for a bit, the volume might be distracting if you're trying to have a conversation or work.

As for the coffee, it was decent but not a highlight. It wasn't the best I've had, and I suspect the flavor profile might not be to everyone's liking.

Overall, this is a fantastic place for a comfortable and relaxed get-together, but it might not be the ideal destination for a serious...

As the name, it’s a coffee spot by the seaside. I adore the concept of this stall with the white and soft blue theme.

They are various seatings options, from the lower seats to the ground and high chairs as common shop.

The price is affordable for the setting, and able to offer common coffee selection. I ordered iced mocha and coconut latte. The coffee is not that strong- it has ordinary taste-likely a good one.

There’s also snacks from other stall- (noticed ramen & spaghetti spot)

There are also instagrammable spots-hit the swing and decorated bench by the sea.

Mind you, there’s toilet provided for customers.
