Secret Recipe One Krubong — Restaurant in Malacca

Earlier this afternoon, I called the restaurant to ask if I could reserve a table for iftar but the staff on call said I can't make one?? The staff said I could just walk- in. I came to the restaurant full with no vacant tables, was forced to eat somewhere else. To add insult to injury, the staffs was very neglectful, unfriendly and poor service as well! I'm very curious to know who trained them? So far, my experience with Secret Recipe with other branches had no problems whatsoever. But this particular branch at 1 Krubong is very problematic and I'm VERY unsatisfied with the service. My past experience here was also similar, the waitstaff seemed disinterested and inattentive, taking forever to even acknowledge our presence. When our orders were finally taken, it took an eternity for the food to arrive, and when it did, it was lukewarm at best. Not accommodating at all! Overall, my experience at 1 Krubong Secret Recipe was highly disappointing. The combination of poor service, unfriendly staff, and undesirable environment makes it impossible for me to recommend this establishment to anyone. Save your time and money and...

Give 1-star because of the opening hours is until 9PM only. I am a pregnant woman, wish to take away cakes, comes at 9.20PM but it is already closed. Ask the staffs, but they are not friendly and helpful. Hope the owner of this Secret Recipe Krubong can change the opening hours. It should not closed at 9PM. It is too early. Tealive and other shoplots beside it...

Alhamdulillah we were very lucky to get promo 2 slice of cake for Rm18 only + free coffee 2 main delicious dish and one of it only rm8.53
