My favourite spot at Mahkota Parade. But here?Very dissapointed ! As i read at review, too many complaints about service SR Merlimau. I actually not a person who likes to complaint but its happen to me too. Be waiting at the counter for a slices cakes around 20mins. Then come 1 man after me, suddenly that SR girl come and ask for his order. Excuse me lady, i have been waiting here for 20mins. And you served that man first? Also fyi i order 2slices cake, and she doesn't give me any plastic bag. I take away that cake until the fork falls on the floor before i reach to the door. So ashamed. Have 4 staff outside, but no one can work properly? i saw customer (family) dine in there, take their cake (4-5slices) from counter herself? Around 10min no staff served the cake until customer go and take it themself? If you don't trust go and check your cctv 31/12/24 around 8:30-9pm. Please Manager SR training your Merlimau staff. Of all the Secret Recipe locations I’ve tried, this one has been the worst experience. The food was just not good at all—not just one dish, but all five dishes we ordered were disappointing. It seemed like they didn’t follow the proper cooking methods, even the spaghetti wasn't properly drained and still had leftover boiling water. We ordered chicken mushroom rice, cornflakes chicken chop, buttermilk chicken chop, and spaghetti bolognese, and all of them tasted strange, almost like plastic or factory-processed food. It was very odd and completely unappetizing. Plus, many items on the menu were unavailable, and each time we ordered, they informed us it wasn’t in stock—please update your system for accuracy. The usual settings of secret recipe. With standard menu. But, hmm.. whatever ordered will take way to long to arrive, even when you are the only customer to dine in. (Experienced, not exaggerating) too many changes in the staff, meaning everytime i go every montly maybe, i always see trainees, new faces, changes. So, that makes your team baby always with no proper management and service. and finally i was served with tiny miny very small black snail in the salad, lettuce if im not wrong. So, make sure you ask them to wash their leafs before serving.
