I've a confession to make. I'm from Kuala Pilah. I know rojak Pilah like all Pilahan's does but I don't know Ah Meng Kopitiam until recently when many of my cycling buddies updated status and uploading photos of Ah Meng Kopitiam. We went there last Sept (25/09/2022 to be exact). Actually it's not a planned trip because we just want to cycle from Senawang to Kuala Pilah until my friend asked "where we want to have breakfast". He suggested Ah Meng Kopitiam and I agreed cause I've never been there. We reached there at 10am and to my surprise there're still a lot of people flocking that place. I ordered nasi kerabu while my wife ordered "roti bakar" (toasted bread) and "telur goyang" (half boiled egg) accompanied with a cup of kopi kaw (strong coffee). Taste wise is OK and sorry I can't comment on the coffee or the roti bakar because I'm not an expert to rate those food. To me it's all the same (hahaha...). The ambience is truly Malaysian where Malays, Chinese and Indians came and enjoying their meal. And the best part is that it's not pretending to be a rustic "kopitiam" like kopitiam located in shopping malls because it's actually rustic and antique located in the suburb of Kuala Pilah. Will I go there next time? Yes. I want to try their "mi kari" because it's sold out when we're there. So many reviewers saying their mi kari is "sedap" and since I'm a mi kari lover, I will try and give a review of...
Read moreAh Meng Kopitiam is a hidden gem that captures the essence of an old-style kopitiam, though finding it initially can be a bit tricky due to the inconspicuous signboard. Once you do locate it, the experience is well worth it. Their toast is satisfying, and the coffee is exceptionally tasty, delivering that classic kopitiam flavor. The curry noodles are also a standout, served with precision and taste. I'd rate Ah Meng Kopitiam a solid 4 stars. Despite the initial challenge of finding it, the authentic kopitiam atmosphere and delicious offerings, especially the coffee and curry noodles, make it a place worth revisiting for those seeking that nostalgic...

I always look forward to having their roti bakar and their half boiled egg which are off the chart delicious. They have been using telo ayam kampong and that's what made me come back here again and again.
Seats are aplenty indoor and outdoor but do not arrive that late, as by 9 or 10 the place is almost full.
Everything is above average here, from the simple nasi lemak, mee sup, mee kari, kueh apam, roti bakar and kopi o kaw,
Definitely will come back again here a lovely muhibbah kopitiam to savour...
