The cendol is good! The taste is balance between the fattiness of the coconut milk, the sweetness from the sugar, and the cendol has a hint of saltiness that gives the whole drink a balance dynamic. We visited twice, on a Friday evening as well as Sunday evening. It’s less people on weekdays and definitely has a more chill vibe. While over the weekend it’s packed with people. However, the service is definitely good and the people there are friendly.
I would definitely recommend the cendol biasa. The cendol Beluluk ( buah kabung) is definitely not the best buah kabung cendol I have tasted. Not worth trying in my opinion.
There’s a couple stalls attach to this cendol place, I do not recommend the coconut shake because it tasted more like vanilla ice cream than coconut, and the rest of the kuih available there doesnt taste good either.
The price is cheap compared to the Restaurant at the opposite of...
Read moreA new place to stop, and I am sure it's going to be packed, especially during school holidays and massive traffic jam in that area. There are a few stalls there.
The mix rice was good. Authentic daging and ikan sembilang masak lemak.
The cendol was super good. You know they make their own cendol when the cendol itself isn't consistent in size and color. It's a bit lumpy yet soft and not chewy like the ones you get in the city sold by uncountable food trucks. The santan was plenty well. You can add corn, pulut etc to your liking, but that adds cost.
The meehoon soup daging was good as well. Tasty and they sell mi kari and laksa too.
Next stall is otak2. Nothing to shout about.
Then there is rojak, keropok lekor and a coconut water stall.
There are toilets and Muslim prayer rooms as well. A good stop if you...
Read moreWe stopped here because we saw many cars stopped haha. Kepoh us. We tried the cendol belalak & was told belalak is what we in Kedah called buah now. But theirs is red colour while in Kedah its translucent. The cendol taste nice for me because its not too sweet. We also tried the air jando pulang which is coconut water with "gula kabong"(palm sugar) tastes ok. There are many stalls eg curry me, keropok lekor, fries etc. Stalls are self service. There is a singer with nice voice onsite belting oldies. We lingered to enjoy hehe. This place is clean. I didnt visit the toilets so cant comment about it sorry. Hope u will have a nice little break here...
