In my opinion, the fish is not Bakar enough. It feel like it have been cook on the banana leave only, you dont get the pungent smell of burn. However, you get to taste the freshness of the fish because of that. So they may have done it on purpose.
The pari (stingray) fish goes well with the sambal but not so on other type of fish. The sambal also goes well with the sotong (squid) which again is very fresh. Be caution, the sambal might be to spicy if your tolerance level is low.
I would definitely come again if it did cross my path. Give it a try if you have...

This place has been in operations for decades by the original Lady Boss. They used to be under some zinc roof opposite where they are now. Understand from the super friendly younger boss that her Mother In law is down with numerous health issues, thus we no longer see her at this new shop. There's also NO Laksa Mee anymore... GOOD NEW IS, the sambal for their pan BBQ seafood dishes is still FANTASTIC! Ingredients are still very fresh. So happy to have find this place again... just brings back wonderful...
