I rarely leave reviews, but this one is well deserved. I visited their Senawang branch recently and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the grilled fish. Not even the slightest hint of fishy smell, which is so rare! It was cooked to perfection and full of flavor.

The staff were also incredibly friendly and sincere. After our meal, they checked in to make sure everything was alright, and it didn’t feel scripted at all. You could really feel their genuine care and hospitality.

Later, after leaving and already on the highway, we realized we forgot to inform the counter that we added extra rice ourselves. I called (I believe it was the Ulu Bendul branch that picked up) to let them know and asked if I could transfer any additional charges. But the lady who answered was so kind and soft spoken, and simply said “it’s okay, halal je.” Honestly I was touched. It’s rare to find a restaurant with such heart, honesty, and genuine service.

they left a beautiful impression on me. Great food, great people, and a warm experience overall. Highly...

Authentic negeri sembilan daging salai (smoked beef). Reasonably priced too, far cheaper and better quality than what we typically have in Klang Valley. Dropped by here after Gunung Angsi hike to reward myself (also because one of my friend highly recommend it). For those who are not into beef or smoked foods, there are other options available too. Plenty of other dishes available provided you are not too late. This restaurant do not provide table services, so you will have to queue and choose your dishes on your own.

Plenty of parking space available, it can be a bit hot at noon. The restaurant located not too far from Ulu Bendul recreation park, about 4 to 5 km. It's literally facing main road so it's pretty hard to miss. You can see people queueing during peak hour especially on weekends, probably because of Covid prevention SOP like scanning and temperature check slowing them down.

If you happen to be in this area, definitely worth to give it a try. It may suit your taste buds. It is a local small business, there is no harm to support local...

Honest review:

✅ ‘Masak Lemak Daging Salai’ 5/5 ✅ Dish Variety 5/5 ✅ Staff friendliness 4/5 ✅ Eating space 4/5 ✅ Cleanliness 5/5 ✅ Parking 5/5

‘Masak Lemak Daging Salai’ enthusiasts, this is the right place to give it a go. As for me, my friends brought me here to taste for the first time, I came back on my own the next day for lunch.

The gravy is cooked to my liking. The ‘lemak’ from the coconut milk and the level of spiciness is well done. I even drank the ‘kuah’ from the bowl on my first time there. Loved the chilli kick!

They also served several other dishes. And for ‘masak lemak’, they have various proteins such as duck, chicken, free-range chicken ‘ayam kampung’, quail, mushroom and white lipped-eel catfish ‘ikan sembilang’.

As for the desserts, you can enjoy ‘cendol’ and ‘tapai’ (made from fermented rice).

I highly recommend this place. And for sure I will revisit this...

We reached this place around 4pm. Not much dishes left. Managed to get the crispy Fried chicken (fresh from the wok), mixed vegetables and the kuah lemak chilli ayam. Food was nice. The rose syrup with basil seeds was good too. That was the only choice of drink left. We then tried the Chendol. Initially it wasn't that good. We requested to have more palm sugar to be added. Then kapow! Chendol turned yummy! The palm sugar had an interesting but yummy taste to it. Unlike the ones I had in Melaka.
