Singgah makan sebab orang ckp sedap n viral. Bila sampai kat sana mmg penuh orang. Ada meja kosong pun kena tunggu pelayan kemas dan kutip semua pinggan dulu. Then, sambil2 tu kami sekeluarga duduk terus utk cop tempat dan order makanan. Kami order nasi putih utk 8 org. Tiba2 dgn secara automatiknya, si pelayan lelaki yg tengah kemas tu hulurkan nasi putih satu pinggan yg ada kat atas meja tu lebihan daripada customer sebelum ini. Katanya, dia akan tambah lg 7 pinggan nasi putih dan berlalu ke dapur. Bayangkan meja di depan kami itu kosong tanpa order kami tetapi sudah ada satu pinggan nasi putih di tengah meja. Kami agak terkesima ketika itu tetapi tetap berfikir positif kemungkinan sikap kedai yang tidak mahu membazir. Malangya, nasi putih yg dihulurkan itu agak kering dan pinggannya pula berhabuk kerana mungkin sudah lama terdedah. Kami mula berfikir nasi itu ada kebarangkalian sudah disentuh oleh customers sebelum ini. Jadi saya meletakkan pinggan di hujung meja dgn hasrat pelayan akan mengambilnya dan menukar dgn yg baru. Selepas setengah jam lauk pauk yang kami order sampai, pelayan perasan nasi yang tadi berada di hujung meja dan membawanya masuk ke dalam dapur. Alangkah terkejutnya apabila pelayan tadi membawanya keluar semula bersama dengan 7 pinggan lagi nasi putih. Kami cam ia adalah nasi putih yang sama memandangkan pinggan itu bewarna kuning dan yang lainnya semua biru. Tambahan lagi ia nampak kotor, nasinya kering dan sejuk tidak seperti nasi2 yg lain. Kami agak kecewa dengan sikap pekerja kedai yang terang2 mahu menipu kami. Jadi saya terpaksa memanggil pelayan itu dan bertanya kenapa masih lagi membawa nasi yang sama sedangkan ia adalah lebihan orang lain. Di mana letaknya sikap hygene restoran ini? Kalau nasi itu bertutup dan masih lagi elok, mungkin kami boleh menerimanya lagi tetapi ini seperti lagak restoran yang bersikap kedekut walhal mengaut keuntungan yang banyak setiap bulan. Seperti customers mereka tidak layak utuk makan makanan yang setimpal dengan harga yang dibayar. Sangat mengecewakan. Nasihat saya, kaji balik sikap pekerja tentang penyediaan makanan. Agak2 la...

The stretch of hawker shop by the roadside serves the main speciality of Kuala Rompin which is the Udang Galah (River Prawn).

Its pricing is based on its size and could go up to RM 55 or so. This on my plate was RM 15 per pc so that made it to RM 30 in total. The rice and other condiments plus drink was another RM 6 plus.

The one thing that I liked was their sambal.. that practically made the food taste better. On the down side, the food was rather cold and that was a turn off. I prefer food to be warm if not hot. Only the udang galah was reheated upon serving.

In terms of pricing, it's a bit pricey for a small roadside hawker shop.

Kalau nak try boleh la. Udang takde la fresh sgt. But overall sedap je. Udang kecil dari sungai belakang, udang besar dari luar (according to info tuan kedai). Harga dah siap2 label, ada per ekor (besar) atau per mangkuk (dlm 4-5 ekor kecil camtu)
