Revisited 15apr2024 Hokkien mee was better than previous visit. Sticky and with wok hei. 5 stars Fried pork was poorly made. 2 stars Bittergourd was mediocre. 2 stars Ginger steam fish was the worst. Too many tiny bones. Dangerous. 1 star Yam pork wad mediocre. Yam was done very good. 3 stars Total bill RM245 for 4 persons dinner. Overpriced. ------------------------ Hokkien mee was delicious. Wonderful wok hei and taste. 4 stars First look at the white pork dish was unattractive. But, taste was unbelievable addictive. Very well done. Simple look post great taste. 5 stars Choy sum was juicy and crunchy and fresh. 4 stars

Triang is famous for river fishes. Air conditioned restaurant, clean. The owner was friendly and recommended us his menu but guided us on ordering. We ordered ikan kelar fillet halved steamed, their special Hainanese pork belly, steamed river prawns, claypot yam pork ribs. The ikan kelar was really fresh, the soy sauce was not overpowering the fish. The Hainanese pork belly was good, something different like steamed pork with sauce. The claypot yam pork belly was ok. Bonus was the hokkien mee which we found it quite tasty. The steamed fresh river prawns is very nice.

Noodles are all freshly homemade without preservatives! Ordered local delicacies, loh mee (tomato-base) and hokkien Mee. Noodles are all dente, love the chewiness but taste can be stronger. Restaurant owner recommended the pork belly with oyster sauce and cabbage wrap is a local dish worth trying.

Went there in a group of approx 26 pax occupying 3 tables. We ordered a mixture of normal and seafood dishes. Overall I find the food is only average but the Patin fish @RM22/100g is deninitely a bit on the higher end although this price is clearly displayed on the menu board. The river prawn @RM16/100g is reasonable. I did not have the breakdown for the price of all the dishes but definitely the RM100+ paid for each pax is on the upper end for what we have ordered but I must admit most of the cost would have gone to the Patin fish...
