Wrong Selai in Temerloh is a charming roadside gem that beautifully blends rustic ambience with mouthwatering food. The moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm, homely vibe – wooden interiors, vintage touches, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger over coffee just a little longer.
Their pastries are a real highlight – fresh, flaky, and clearly made with love. Alongside these, they also serve local delicacies such as nasi kerabu that bursts with colour and flavour, a wonderful nod to the region’s culinary heritage.
If I had one small suggestion, it would be to display the prices of the pastries. This would make it easier for customers to budget and choose without hesitation. Still, the overall experience more than makes up for it, and I’d happily return for another lazy afternoon surrounded by the comforting smells of freshly baked bread...
Read moreSurprised that they served cold hard rock scones with no butter & jam. Disappointed no egg tart available. Drinks are decent but another sign of incompetence is the way they sliced the calamansi wrongly in teh o ais limau. Nasi lemak didn’t look appetizing but the sambal sotong tasted great. Toast with kaya & butter; can tell that it’s actually MARGARINE & the kaya was store bought. The egg on top was small like a quail egg & the yolk wasn’t runny. It is by far miles away from roti titab standard at Kopitiam Kita. Only the bread was good. Overall the food quality was subpar and not premium at all. The only good thing of this quaint warung is probably the ambience & the pretty cats. Not recommended if you’re looking for good food & would...

But I guess our timing was wrong. There wasn't anything available on the menu except for Spaghetti Bolognese and normally I wouldn't even eat that but we were hungry and we anticipated traffic to be heavy so we gave it a go. It's good as far as spaghetti goes. A bit sad that we didn't get to try the pastries. The warong is quaint, a lot of heart went into creating the space. The pink lemonade was refreshing, the coffee was good. Service was overall okay. Although a lot of the tables weren't cleaned after patrons left, so we did our own cleaning as we sat down and wait...
