Went there during one of the days towards end of the year for dinner. The food was quite good, compared to the menu title offered. During our visit, the place was empty, but there were reserved tables hence we were brought to a table near the barista counter, to our horror there were flying insects or serangga that we were unsure what they are, but usually when you have rubbish, that small flying insects would be around (not lalat). So we requested to change tables in which they were able to accommodate. I suspected it came from the plant as I looked inside the pot, they looked like fertilisers, but the plant is fake, so I am puzzled. The one I was sitting at is next another plant but with plant inside and not just pot so that's how I know the plant is fake, I guess. Food wise, it was surprisingly good. I had the northern Indian butter chicken while the rest a mix of Jamaican, Thai and more. So the diversity is there. They also offered mocktail drinks so that's a plus. The ambiance was nice and relaxing, but the position of one table to another in a row is quite close to one another, so it could be better. Parking is convenient and ample spaces around, I guess due to the non peak time. This restaurant served 2 types of experiences, fine dining which is inside, and another which is the halaman, the outdoor offering, hence 2 different set of food offerings. I would want to rate higher than 3.5, but no that feature here, hence had to put 3 out of 5 stars, if not due to the insects, which was a turn off for me to repeat my visit there in the nearest future. Perhaps something for improvement soonest by...
Read moreToo pricey for the quality of food. The price isn’t worth the food and service at all. Cooked using non-fresh materials, tasted almost like instant packet food. Reserved for 8 pax one day prior but still had to wait long. The aglio olio (RM38) was too oily and the pasta wasn’t al dente. Smoked salmon linguine was watery (RM38), the salmon was lousy. The carbonara (RM38) too. Norwegian Salmon (RM52) was overcooked, not fresh, tasted like a lazy after-thought. The roast baby spring chicken (RM38) was 20% chicken and the rest is inedible. Drinks just tasted like cheap soda mixed with boxed juices. The service needs a lot of work. Won’t be coming here again, thats for sure.
