This is a must-visit place when visiting Pangkor Laut resort. We opt to come here both nights. Shoutout especially to Robin for his excellent service. He is exemplary in going the extra mile in providing top notch service to guests. Nizam and Chan has also been very attentive to our needs during the meal. Darwin the restaurant manager is friendly and had chatted with us. This restaurant is the only redeeming experience that help made our stay on the island wonderful.

Side note. The grouper we had on our 2nd night wasn't that fresh. However all the other foods had be more than wonderful. Worthy for a trip to the island just to savour...

We have been lucky enough to have eaten some exceptional food on our trip to Malaysia. We did a street food tour of KL to Kampong Baru (incredible), eaten in a superb banana leaf restaurant in Little India, had wonderful food at The Banjaran Hotsprings in Ipoh. But tonight was a different level.

From the moment we walked into Fisherman's Cove, Robin made it a truly special night. I probably had the best fish dish of my life (pan seared grouper) and the rest of the food awesome; service, wine (thank you Mr Ong!) and atmosphere was top class.

Highly recommend! If you come to Pangkor Laut you have...

On Pankor Laud Island Resort and Spa, set on Jungle Island in Tropical Setting and excellent views of Malaysian Penninsula. Food is of International Standard, and achieves excellence by providing more 'Style above Substance'..so do not feel hungry, prior to booking more Art than Sustenance. Expect to pay around £100 + for 1 green bean..a blueberry (cut in half !), plus glance of the meat or fish you ordered ! I can recommend the Lamb in this Fish Eatery, but not the Bubbly at £150 a sip !! Definitely not to be missed. Considered Awarded " Best...

We spent a splendid evening dinner in fisherman‘s cove. Cozy, quiet and chill… We are lucky and happened to have guest chef Luca Binashi featuring taste of St. Tropez! We love our every bites, from stater to main and to desert! We took the wine pairing package and personally, I think it worth every single cent elevating the wonderful dining experience! Again, staff/waiter training is crucial, good dining experience not only food but the service too.

Excellent service and vibes. Very romantic spot for dinner, especially if you manage to get a seat right beside the sea (those tables are unsheltered). They serve free flow bread (we enjoyed the white bread) and also gifted us a complimentary appetizer and lime sorbet after our soup to cleanse our palate before moving on to the mains. Food is above average and pricey but just think of it as paying for the ambience and service!
