Been a huge fan of Pei Pei Mookata for years! I used to dine in frequently before they moved to their new location, and I’m so glad to see they’re still going strong. Their clear soup base for mookata is super comforting, and hands down, their sambal is still the best I’ve ever had (tried so many places around KL, but nothing compares to Pei Pei’s sambal!)
Shoutout to the super friendly lady boss too. We came in as a big group around 10pm and ended up eating until past 11:30pm, even though they close at 11pm, they never rushed us or asked us to leave. We felt really sorry because a few of us could only reach after work around 10pm, but we’re so grateful that the boss was so kind and accommodating 🥹 We will definitely try avoiding this situation to happen again!
