The dining area is large and the welcoming facade is adorned with several Thailand's cultural icons, indicating it's roots. While the dishes themselves aren't actually bad, they have several key issues. Most notably the crabs are not big enough to command that price while the prawns cooked in asam paste were not only small but not actually that fresh, with the determining cooking style allowing them to hide any sort of freshness related issues. The fish was fine despite being slightly overdone while the claypot tofu is just mid but the portion of kailan is just too small. Despite all that, I like the thick vermicelli in seafood soup as the freshness of the prawns and clams can be clearly tasted. The freshness of seafood in this type of cooking cannot be masked and thus they would've to serve the freshest stocks. The price however is overly expensive.

Read moreWe arrived just in time of them opening, their staffs are friendly and was told that it's pork free. In fact, they have a steady stream of Muslim dining there. The seafood meehoon(large size) is delectable. A place I'll return for sure. Nice pricing is a bonus with chilling environment is a plus. We were served their local fried popiah and nia kou which they bought nearby (probably we were the first customers).
The fish maw soup (a local special delicacy of Setiawan- fresh fish maw and a balanced sweet sour touch has gotta be the trick to such savoury outcome), seafood beehoon and crab is a must-have.
The rest I'll leave it to...
