Xin Tian Tian Lai Restaurant — Restaurant in Perak

From cameron highlands to KL. Decided to stop by Bidor for lunch. Found this place from bangsar babe blog. She was right, the flies were annoying. I arrived 1pm on Wesak Day and there was only 1 table half way eating so our food was pretty fast. Other reviewers were right, theres only one chef so i assume during peaak period, the wait for food is longer. I asked for sambal sweet potato leaves but i think their version is better. Sauteed with dried shrimp and add cili padi for kick! Bonus is aircond on a hot day and down the road ck cemerlang for ice kacang. Location just off...

I liked this restaurant so much when I 1st visited. I would rate their frog dish 4star. However during 2nd visit...the chief chef changed the prawns I choose to smaller ones. And worse... I saw him doing it in front of me..! The assistant chef and the order taker kept silent and they know I was watching. I didn't say anything and ate what they served. The prawns not fresh. They lost me over a profit margin & poor ...

Accidental find. A good stop over from the highway. Food quality is decent. The so call "small town" delicacy style Price is reasonable. Friendly owner. Has been operating for around 13 years. We did not order anything fancy. When we were there we were the last table served of the evening. The waitress apologised to us because it took slightly longer for our meal to be served....
