Dewati is undoubtedly the best (and cheapest!) restaurant on Lang Tengah! I stayed on the island for five days and had all my meals here. I enjoyed a variety of dishes, including the rice with sides (which tasted just like my grandmothers' cooking — this comes with the full board package), fried rice, fried noodles, chicken burger, and many more.
Here are some helpful tips: The kitchen is small, so if you visit during peak hours, you might need to wait. It's best to order in advance before you get too hungry. A delightful feature is the treehouse where you can dine. Order your food below and then take it up with you. You can also purchase snacks here, such as ice cream, chips, beer, and large bottles of mineral water etc.

We had grilled seabass and squid in a simple turmeric-laced sambal, and we considered coming back for dinner when the staff showed us that some fresh crab had just been unloaded from the boat. Paid 172 RM for 3 pieces of sambal chicken that were only bones and fat, a tiny tasteless fish, plain rice, a few fries, 2 small beers and an omelette.
