I came here looking for last minute place to stay as I experience my. First ever 3 hour jam from Kundasang to Ranau. A combination of Hari Raya and Long weekend does make everyone go crazy. Love the environment, love the smell of the tea leaves in the air. (You have to concentrate and focus on your nose, enter a zen like trance to smell the tea leaves. :D) We decided to eat here at 530pm. Or else where would you find dinner at nowhere. Ranau is out of the question as we just escape the horrendous traffic jam. Ala carte stir fry Kueh Teow for rm15 Ala carte Wat Tan Ho for rm15 Ala carte fried rice for rm15 Well, food is always over priced here. But given the zen like environment and smell of tea leaves. I'd say it's still worthwhile to come here and enjoy the atmosphere just to pamper yourself. Managed to snap some awesome photo for you to see. Mind you the place isn't as amazing as Kinabalu Park or even Ranau Poring. But still a worthwhile place to visit. Till next time folks! PS. the place is fully booked so I got no other photos.

An absolute oasis in the midst of an area where there arenāt many food choices. Probably one of the most memorable places we dined at on this trip to Sabah. We were very pleasantly surprised by how delectable the desserts were. Green tea waffles were very fragrant, green tea crepes/pancakes were soft and tender, green tea ice cream comparable to some of the better Japanese matcha ice cream we had, and also the pandan teh tarik was very good, not too sweet and very fragrant even when diluted in ice. We ended up having an early dinner together with our tea, and the mains (lamb curry, black pepper beef) were also very good. Staff were welcoming and friendly with regards to recommendations and unlike most places in Kundasang it has a very clean dining environment with next to no flies at all, but there were plenty of noisy cicadas in the afternoon. A must try when in the area!! Can wholeheartedly recommend.

Food was bad. Maybe chef not in mood. Ordered Chicken Sabah Tea Soup (small portion) - soup okay la, but we only get like 5-6 slices of chicken, mushroom & carrot quite a lot maybe they can change the menu's name to mushroom chickenš Wild Vege(pucuk paku) with sardine - okay la nothing much to say because its sardine, u all know how its taste Ice cream split banana - creamy & not too sweet. Balance taste Teh tarik sabah tea - i think they forgot to tarik the tea Flavoured Sabah Tea (Peppermint) - I dont feel refresh because the peppermint is not there. They have new attraction which is Canopy Walk, maximum spend time is 10minutes. Again...u have to pay to walk thru the bridge Adult :RM5 Children :RM3. (My personal opinion, maybe its will more nice if they dont charge restaurant's customer because well, u gonna spent a lot during dining, consider its complimentary for your restaurant's customer) They also have souvenirs shop, plenty of flavoured tea available & affordable price. Service is so so because during my time there, group of tourist there so staff more attentive to the tourist's.

BAD experience!!!! 1. No system to arrange the customers - Call for reservation, just ask us to walk in. When walk-in, no waiting list book, we have to stand near the tables which almost done. Seriously?! - Order for takeaway, waited for 45mins. 45mins!!! Just simple waffles(2 sets), pancake (2 sets) and scone(1 set). Arenāt these ready and fast food?? - We check out with the staffs in every 15 mins, they say: READY-ING. But we can only get our FIVE sets desserts after 45mins. Well done Sabah Tea!!!! - The waitress went into kitchen to check for 10mins, pass us the food with putting in ON THE CASHIER TOP + BAD ATTITUDE FACE!!!! Without any apologise and thank you. Is it my fault to order desserts and wait there for 45mins? - btw, the food is pricey and not worth. Well~~ no second chance. (If can I hope not to give them a star.)

This place serves as the restaurant, gift shop and tourist information center of the private property. Nearby spots are the tea plantation, factory and a few picture-worthy structures. Eating at the restaurant can get expensive so it is a good idea to bring light snacks on your visit so that you won't have to spend a huge fortune for a meal. The gift shop sells a variety of plain and flavored tea, shirts and other souvenir items. The restaurant and tea factory are open for walk-in tourists and are not exclusive to checked in guests. The I ā„ļø Sabah Tea, giant tea pot, Sabah Tea picture frame, tree house and giant beetle are few of the picture-worthy items that you can find near the restaurant, aside from the astonishing view of the Kinabalu mountains. Staff are friendly, helpful and most of them speak English.

Spanning over 2,500 hectares of temperate farmland, Sabah Tea Garden is the largest tea plantation in Sabah. It has a gift shop where visitors can purchase its tea products. Sabah Tea Restaurant is an open-air restaurant next to the tea plantation. While dining, customers enjoy a scenic view of the majestic Mount Kinabalu. The mountain looks imposing despite being 30 kilometers away! Overall, the food taste is acceptable but there is definitely room for improvement. Scones, waffles and pancakes could have been much better if green tea were given a more prominent role. Sabah Tea Restaurant also serves a variety of local and Western dishes. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to order more food today. Parking is aplenty, however there are dogs everywhere.
