absolutely love the place. the campsite is clean and shaded by trees. you just park your car behind and setup your tent 5m away. they have a sign that prohibits visitors to karaoke which i find should be compulsory for all campsites. have clean showers and a sink outside. the owner stays there to manage the cafe until closure time. not sure where they sleep. the beach is secluded so you feel like you own the whole place. be cautious with the stray dogs that come to investigate your trash and food. so definitely dont leave your food unattended. i tied up my trash bag on a branch and they managed to jump and torn the bag even though i didn't put any food waste in. Digi reception was strong in the afternoon but went out just before sunset. some places, i do get notifications in whilst walking along the beach. the connection was restored during midnight while i woke up to stargaze. sandflies are present but not too annoying. just bring some repellents or ointments to repel and aid yourself. price for campsite is RM25. Roby is a great host. very friendly and welcoming. but you need to respect the locals because he did complain some foreigners doesn't listen to his instructions regarding swimming safety. they dont have lifeguards and the kudat waves do get quite strong so be careful when going in the water. all in all, would definitely repeat! where else can you get a crystal clear sea and clean beach for...

A humble place for hanging out and just chillaxing if you are not a fan of doing camping with a beautiful seaview provided with simple menu of food and beverages. That beach swing is a bonus! Existed since 2014, I wonder why the owner doesn't even build one or maybe two places to stay for the night for those who wants to be in a house. So much potential as the beach is so gorgeous and the sand is soft, I believe many will like to stay here even with only few basic necessities. The food was okay but they only got fish for seafood options on the day we visited. We ordered some cocktails but the ingredients are all finished. The bartender can only managed to do 1 cocktail out of 3 orders. Cocktail was so-so. But not forgetting the effort for no plastic straws. An applause for the use of bamboo straws! The surrounding areas could be further cleaned and organized. And please do something to the toilet. It is...

This beautiful place is run by the most incredible family! The lovely owner, Robi is fantastic. My boyfriend and I ate at his a few months ago and we went there every single day. We played football on the beach with his family. He is also such an incredible environmentalist. He recycles all of his rubbish incredibly well and teaches the rest of his village and area about the effects that burning plastic has on the world. He also adopts cats (and has adopted dogs in the past) to give them all wonderful lives! When we went he had around 20 cats! We really recommend their pineapple juice (I had it twice a day 😂). The beach that they are based on is one of the most gorgeous beaches i have been to and they have lovely walks along the coast (and to the tip of borneo!) If you are thinking of coming here i urge you to as it has been one of the highlights of our six...
