Been here once. Usually you need to book your seating first, because it is always full. At the time, the Korean guy is the one serving us all, around 12 tables. We came exactly 7pm, taken our orders around 7.19pm, and finally got our first meal around 8.10pm. We were told one of the staff went on holiday so they were short staffed. Food wise, I cannot comment much due to me being flexible and accept most food without issue. And it was my first time went to a Korean restaurant. But one thing I think the boss need to take note. First come first serve (Or first in, first out) need to be applied inside the restaurant. When we came, there were only 3 tables filled with guest including us. 10-20 minutes later, others came, and were taken orders first, skipping the two of us. And their food came first much sooner than us. I know they came in higher number (Families, more $$$ spent, or perhaps very close to the owner first?), But this leaves bad impression to first timer like us. After all 11 tables were taken orders (Read, all 11 excluding us), then he came and took our order, remember we are the 3rd one that came first. But yes, he did apologized for that. Still, from 3rd to become the last to be served is not something pleasant. Even tho you are busy, first come first serve suppose to be applied here.
Hope the business will continue to grow. And if the staff or boss see this, please consider this. Don't put bad impression to the first timer in Sandakan. All the best in your...

Read moreThe only Korean restaurant that i can find in sandakan. Located quite in isolated areas. Find hsiang garden hotel then u can find this place. Food was very pricey and the quality of it not the same as u paid. Ordered kimchi jiggae for Rm27 inclusive of 7 banchan, rice and free chinese tea. But what disappoint me is the jiggae barely have meat. I asked before ordering is it only kimchi inside the waitress said no there'll be pork meat inside. When the order came i only get 3 small pieces of meat. So so disappointed. Only have 1 waitress staff and i think 1 person in the kitchen therefore expect to...
