It was a pleasant experience for me.upon entrance,it didnt seem to be anything special as it looks small compared to a typical restaurant. But after setting my foot in,I didnt have even a sliver of regret coming to this eatery.the settings n the decorations were kept at a bare minimum simple level.the lighting were set neither too bright nor too dim, depicting a cosy warm ambience. We were approached by the cook aka waiter named vijay.such a pleasant guy who wears a smile in his face at all times. He explained to us thoroughly about each n every item on the menu n even went in detail to describe how it will b prepared as well as the expected kind of taste.really impressive We decided to go for one chicken briyani and one mutton briyani.for a briyani restaurant, the meal came quite fast.even more surprising was the fact that it was piping hot all the way. As we were hungry,I had to ignore the burning sensation pricking me each time I dig into the rice.the excellently blended mixture of spices, gravy n rice were preceded by the waft of the briyani seeping through my nose making me totally impatient to take my first mouthful of the rice. The infused spices were perfectly balanced with the rice making the first mouthful a total pleasure.the melting mutton were drifting in between the rice, soaking it with a heavenly flavour of what I came for. When I shifted my attention to try the chicken briyani,I was not disappointed.the flesh of the chicken were as if it were shredded, making it entirely coated with the spices without leaving any part of the chunk bland. As I was about to be done with the meal, which was real hearty even for a big eater like me,I was approached by the same waiter (cook) who took the initiative to personally ask me about each of the dishes.i gave my honest opinion about the meal n also told him that in my opinion,I felt that the rice were slightly overcooked he took the comments well n explained to me,that was the style of the briyani that he prepared, even explained how it was prepared for several hours in order for the mixture to be soaked well with the flavour.hence, the rice would somehow made to give way to the gravy to b a bit more overpowering compared to the rice. We tried a jiggirthanda and tandoori coffee since it was something entirely new in the menu.the price were a bit steep for the drink but it was totally worth it. The waiter went into great detail of explaining how the customer's satisfaction n needs were given utmost importance which were preceded with options of what could be done in future.he gave me his contact details, further explained that we could call or what's app him to prepare the food prior to our arrival or to choose to pack the food or even could ask us to deliver the food to us. So far, this is the first time, the entire experience is just too overwhelming.not only they are very welcoming, the food were excellent coupled with various meals that were new to try as well as the options of choosing from packing, dining in or a delivery service according to our needs.tgis restaurant were having its services n the food perfectly tailored entirely to customer's needs. The price were slightly steep in comparison to the usual joints but it was well worth for the taste, the humongous size of the meal,n their unique range of not only the food, but the drinks as well. No regret but just full of praise for this restaurant.its a must try for everyone n I believe each n everyone who visited this restaurant will definitely frequent this place more n more.kudos to...

All the best to you —————————————————————————- my old post 3 years ago:
I believe those who are giving thumbs up and praising this place are probably paid reviewers. This is the worst restaurant that I've ever visited.
First of all, this place is way too expensive that clearly does not match with it's location and food quality.
U will have to go to the payment counter to order food. When I was there, staff mentioned chicken roast bricken and mutton roast biryani finished, so I had no choice but to order fish biryani ( rm 44) and mutton gear box ( rm 44) and chai in bottle (2 bottles - rm20 in total).
I personally find these prices are way too expensive in terms of :
location ( places like brickfields and bangsar where the shop rental is expensive don't charge this much) Example like GEM, Anjapaar - their biryani definitely not rm44, if I'm not mistaken it's about rm25-. 30.
Food quality I would expect my food to be hot or at least a little warm when its being served. When the staff did some gestures to hammer on bamboo, biryani rice came onto my plate cold like from some forensic cadaver fridge. About taste - Biryani??seriously?? That was not biryani, it was just like nasi kandar oily curry plus half cooked basmati rice. I believe they had the fish/mutton cooked separately and poured into bamboo with biryani rice. Those of you who commented that the taste was great - probably u never tasted good biryani before or u seriously need to get your tastebuds checked by a doctor.
Chai - so so only, not worth rm10 for a small bottle.
Ambience - poor...for such an expensive restaurant, I would expect good environment, good paintings and some musics. This looks like some Chinese stall at the back(pic)
Hygiene - poor. They actually put plates just beside the washroom(pic). No tissue provided, so basically those wash hand would sprinkle water as they come out of toilet and probably on the plates. No doormat at toilet entrance - disgusting foot prints from toilet (pic). No proper door at entrance of washroom(pic).
Safety - Fire extinguisher was on the floor, not properly placed.
Worst of all - "WE DONT SERVE FREE TISSUE" sign on counter - you need to buy tissue rm 1. This is absurd, even mamak stall provide tissue on table.
In a nutshell, cut throat.
If you're expecting a great food n ambience, this place will be a total disappointment. Not worth travelling far to this place.
I hope the owner sees this review and make some improvements before any complaints to local...
Read moreCame over after genting trip. Overall in my humble opinion... this shop has been just too hyped up. If you are planning to go... Please LOWER your expectations. Thank God I did not go there hungry. They need to get staffs who speak basic English or malay or Tamil.. They can understand or speak neither. Every thing we asked they jus sed ok or nod with no reply. So I can't fully say poor service cause they are trying to understand you and serve. They did come n ask if everything was fine and all order arrived. The food was overall average. The best tasting was the alapuzha squid briyani.. Which was at a whopping rm59. That's just too much for a shop in nowhere batang Kali. The other bamboo chicken n mutton briyani tasted very very ordinary. As mentioned by other reviewers it's nowhere close to the spices and taste you expect from briyani. There was practically no curd in the raita.. A dry onion side dish. The so called premium coffee and chai was a rip off with dramatic presentation... The chai tasted like benadryl mixed with tea n chocolate. Nauseously sweet. The coffee was very sweet as well tasted like a 3 in 1 mixture.
What topped it was refusal to provide hot water. I understand you want to make money from your drinks thus you don't want to provide warm/plain water but I requested for hot water for my son as he was not well. I can buy mineral water from shop.. Where else can I get hot water? You can make hot green tea but can't provide hot water? Who are you trying to scam?
And yeah i will neva step into this shop ever again. Total paid was 178 for 5 dishes n 3 drinks n 2 water bottles
I think you can walk in to any shops in sentul or Brickfields and get a much better experience of briyani whether being Bamboo or not. For a cheaper price.
The 2 stars was for the squid...
