Let me put it this way- after dining here I have been so hooked into thai food, that my quest to find an better version or at least an equal one elsewhere failed miserably. I had to admit, this is by far the greatest thai food i had in my life. Never did i thought i would find such a treasure in this secluded part of country called tg malim but gosh, i was so wrong. From the moment u park ur car and walk into the restaurant, it feels otherworldly, as if entering another realm. The restaurant was set in a private compound amidst a jungle setting. We were there for dinner, and the dim lighting was so mesmerizing. The simple setup of chairs and table with artwork on the walls was cool. It has an open door concept, so u get breeze from all around but surprisingly there was no mosquitoes. The order did took some time to arrive but you will understand why once the foods arrive. Everything is prepared upon order, hence food comes in hot and fresh. The sauces that accompany each dish are just adequate and not overflowing.. I had few items there but this one dish - deep fried fish in lime sauce stands out above the rest. In fact as i am writing now, im drooling thinking about the amazing taste of the sauce. It was simple, but every ingredients used are super fresh, that it elevates the taste to another level. I even ate the tiny lemongrass in it.. The twist in this dish is that they used natural ingredients to bring out that three different tastes in it. Sour from lime, spiciness from bird eye chili and sweetness from grapes. Yes.. That was something new to me. And with the aroma of lemongrass everything worked like magic. The sauce given was just nice, but i respect the chef's decision cos any less or more, it would have spoilt the dish. Overall i enjoyed my experience here in Mani Thai.. My only regret is i couldn't patronize this place on a weekly basis because of the distance. Otherwise, i would go there for all my special occasions. The guys at Mani Thai- if you are reading this you guys are doing a great job. Keep doing what u r doing now and don't let down your guards. Ur uniqueness lies in ur great setting and great food. Please don't let anything take that away from you guys.. I have become ur greatest fan and whenever i am over there, i will...

One of the standout dishes is the sweet and sour fish. Fresh and expertly prepared, the flavors meld perfectly to create a dish that's both refreshing and satisfying. The tom yum soup is another highlight, packed with a generous amount of seafood and chicken. The broth is rich, aromatic, and bursting with traditional Thai flavors.
Service at this restaurant is exceptionally friendly. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, adding to the overall delightful experience. The ambiance, with its natural setting and thoughtfully designed space, is worth the visit alone.
For coffee enthusiasts, the restaurant does offer a latte. While it may not be the best tasting latte you’ve ever had, it is quite decent and provides a nice ending to the meal.
Parking is ample, so finding a spot is generally not an issue. However, one notable drawback is the walkway leading to the restaurant. It is not particularly wheelchair or elderly-friendly, which might be a concern for some visitors.
Overall, this Thai restaurant offers a unique and memorable dining experience with its delicious food, friendly service, and beautiful, nature-filled setting. Despite the minor inconvenience of the walkway, it's a wonderful place to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine in a tranquil, forest-like...

I had high hopes for my visit to this Thai restaurant given its stellar reputation, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant's acclaim, the quality of the food did not match the high prices.
Firstly, the wait time was excessive. Despite being only the 3rd customer to arrive, we waited nearly an hour for our food to be served, which was frustrating.
Now onto the food itself:
The Salted Fish Kai Lan lacked any discernible salted fish flavor, presenting itself as nothing more than a standard fried kai lan. The Fried Chicken was a letdown. Not only was the portion size small, but the chicken itself was dry and tough, indicating possible over-frying. At RM30, the price did not match the quality. The Pineapple Fried Rice was mediocre at best, with the rice being too wet and lacking in flavor. The Fried Glass Noodle with Seafood was another disappointment. The noodles were excessively hard, making them difficult to enjoy. The Tom Yam Soup was the only dish that met expectations, though it was merely acceptable, nothing exceptional.
In terms of pricing, I found the menu to be on the expensive side considering the lackluster quality of the dishes. It's clear that the restaurant is overrated in this regard.
On a positive note, the environment was acceptable, providing a decent ambiance for the dining experience.
Overall, I left the restaurant feeling underwhelmed and...
