Amazingly fresh and well-cooked seafood and veggies with large portion and shockingly cheap price. We had steamed rice wine and ginger clams, fried sotong and sweet potato leaves. The clams were big and juicy, soaked in flavourful broth (very generous with the rice wine). The sotong was fresh and springy, coated in airy and crunchy batter. For example, we ordered belacan vegetables, but it had no belacan flavor at all. We also requested sweet and sour crab, but were instead served kam heong flavor â seemingly prepared for the next tableâs order, likely to save time. We were not allowed to change the dish, though they did agree to reduce the price.
Overall, the food here is disappointing. Not worth traveling from the city to this riverside...
