Honestly super bad experience with this outlet. I cannot eat spicy but I LOVE ayam Gepuk. Wanted to try this one for the first time since we’re in the area and had super horrible experiences there.
Usually with any other Ayam Gepuk, I always request Bumbu Kacang since I cannot tolerate spice at all. However, when I requested Bumbu Kacang instead of Sambal Biasa, the rude Cashier refused me. I said I dont mind if the bumbu kacang is lesser, I just dont want the Sambal (mixed together with the Kacang) and he still insisted they cannot do that and I have to add On RM3 for the Bumbu Kacang. I explained to him that I dont want to waste the Sambal Biasa if I add on, I iust want the Sambal Kacang. I dont mind if its less amount since I asked to change it. He still insisted and talked to me so rudely.
I called the Manager, she said they dont do it here and they are using expensive cashew so they will “rugi” if they do it frequently. Again I convinced her I dont mind if the Kacang is Less because I am aware and requested for it just to not mixed with Sambal (i really cannot eat sambal!) and she finally gave in saying this is one-time thing only and they wont allow it anymore in the future. After the call, I texted the manager saying that this system is quite messy and it would be better if they could accommodate to customers’ request with disclaimer that the amount of the Bumbu Kacang will be less rather than wasting the Sambal Biasa if the customer add-on Bumbu kacang. Its like the simplest change they could make to satisfy customers yet they keep on giving commentary of how expensive their Bumbu Kacang is.
The manager replied to me nicely but the CASHIER GUY is so so so RUDE. Such an entitled cashier I tell you. Please improve your staff’s customer services & system.

Read moreI am big fans of ayam gepuk ori selayang. Every week I NEED to eat ayam gepuk ori bcs the taste of fried chicken, kubis goreng and sambal are super insane. Here is my comfort zone but I bit frust about parking area and services. after puasa, I think people know the ayam gepuk ori ni sedap gilerrrrrrr and atmosphere dia ok (sejuk ada aircond/premium place). so, the solution for cons dekat ori selayang ni, I think you should improve your services which is makan cepat siap (because last time dine in at 8pm dapat nasi at 10pm) and ramai balik bcs long time waiting. Then improve your parking space. Please dont move, dont shut down your business bcs I love ayam gepuk ori...

Order is made at the ground floor while the basement is where you have to pick up your meals based on numbers. There are a separate counter for drinks, where you have to repeat again what you had ordered and paid upstair, and a guy would make one for you.
The sambal taste not as spicy as the other ayam gepuk that i had been, maybe thats why some people prefer this place. But from my experience with chili, it depends on where youve got the chili sources from. So maybe when you come here, could be different from what i had experience.
The other food on the...
