Daughter's Kitchen — Restaurant in Selayang Municipal Council

This is my second review after one I posted on FB.

Anyway, been a while since been here (4 months I think?)

So what's new?

I see some price change with the Nasi Chicken Maryland and Nasi Chicken Grilled (use to be same)

Then there's chicken chop bossku and chicken chewy. Out of curiosity, I ordered the chewy. Pretty disappointed with the portion... I would have gotten more chicken with the grilled or maryland. And the taste hmmm not so cheesy. But to be fair, I ate claypot ikan kembong beforehand (so it might altered my tastebuds)

Speaking of claypot asam pedas ikan kembong, that was amazing. It wasn't much when I use it as kuah, but when you take sip directly from it, the magic happened (dramatic I know)

To top it off, I ordered my fav milo ais kepal. Ah, the ever good sweet milo taste never go away. Pls never change this one.

In summary, 4 stars cos I'm disappointed with the chewy chicken price + portion + taste. Otherwise, Daughter's Kitchen seem to be...

Warung type eating place on the roadside. Private parking can accommodate about 8 cars at the back of the warung. Variety of menu to choose from, western and local dishes. Mee rebus udang banjir with medium size prawn is one of the best dish. Kueytiau with prawn and boiled egg is tasty. Maryland chicken is nice and crispy. Asam pedas melaka style tasty and not too hot. The star is the ice kepal milo, sweet and sticky. Very fast service. Clean toilets. Clean warung. A life turtle pond as added attraction. Just an 8 minutes away from sungai...

Sungai Buloh has got many Halal eatery with affordable price, this is one of them. They selling both rice noodle and western food. Snacks were not miss out from their menu too. My grilled chicken set comes pretty well, its a satisfying meal but it won't be enough for a big eater or a man. Chicken is served with black pepper sauce which is hard to go wrong. My cendol was nice too. Taste of the food might not be a wow, but good enough for a work day lunch go-to place. Will revisit. Price:...
